Dear FB addicted, few months ago Abraxa and me published here the announcement about Sniper's Corner. Some of you, maybe, remember it is a tool for practicing deflection shooting.
Since FB had several updates from SC first release, an update of such a tool was in order. Therefore, the same "odd couple" developed Sniper's Corner 2 (SC2) for the FB Community. Taking into account your suggestions and FB most recent updates as well, we have hopefully improved the tool by adding the following new features:

a) Aircraft DB has been extended, including AEP + some probable new entries of the upcoming patch.
b) Improved aircraft shapes including props, multiengine models, biplanes, twin-tail and "zwilling".
c) Some new gunsights: all new models up to AEP + some further entries (please note that gunsight sizes match FB representations).
d) Gun DB extended and improved (checks with "FB experimentals" and some more gun data tables). For some guns different cartdrige types are considered.
e) Twin gun pre-selection for quick switching from gun 1 to gun 2. This will enhance weapon/cartridge comparisons.
f) Custom gun Data Base enabled (max 10 custom gun types).
g) Extended aiming point choice (especially for multi-engines).
h) "Effective fire channel" representation in gun calibration scenario.

You can find SC2 with the Italian help here:

http://ourworld.cs.com/Abra772/SC_2_Ita.zip

whereas SC2 with the English help can be downloaded here:

http://ourworld.cs.com/Abra772/SC_2_Eng.zip

The tool is still in Excel. Please, consider that since a number of non basic functions are used, it is not a straightforward job to convert SC2 to other electronic sheets formats, even when they should be Excel equivalent or compatible. All we can say about this point is that, as soon as some good opportunity for easily translating SC2 into a more convenient environment will appear, we will consider it.

We hope you will enjoy SC2.

Since i had no link avaiable for download, i've been spreading the SC1 trough e-mail when ppl would ask me to.

This is a good update, but i have a critic (go figure).

The font.
Its small, real small, too small.

The same font size as in SC1 would have been more apropriate.
No other complaints.
I like the grey background.

I'm an Excell dummy, so if there's a way to change the font size for the sheet, be sure to tell me so.

Cheers.

A "critic" eye is always welcome Resev. I'll see if we can quickly arrange it the way you ask http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

cheers

Gunnery is one of the most difficult skills in a game w/ an already steep learning curve.

Thanks Abraxa, Bruno.

This is for Resev:
Try this: in the upper part of the excel window there is a zoom setting pop up. Now it is set at 92%. Try to put it at 100% . If this is not enough, try also to enlarge the excel windows (up to full screen).
Please, if you have still probs tell us. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
