That's not a string of characters... This (http://thetalesoftwo.blogspot.ie/2012/05/item-1-disney-charm-bracelet.html?m=1) is a string of characters.

It was admittedly easy but dammit, I wasn't going to let a Steam leak ruin my fun.

Because Mastodon did the soundtrack to Jonah HEX -- get it? I'll be here all week.

11co01co2006?

As my Maths teacher used to say, show your working.

For the benefit of anyone wondering, the first 12 pairs of digits are ASCII hex codes (http://ascii.cl/). I guess the trailing 0 was a red herring, unless I've missed something.

31 31 63 6f 30 31 63 6f 32 30 30 36 0

I've had a few turns, indeed. Oasis. Garbage. REM. Muse. My time will come again, I'm sure. :D

Nah, he just null-terminated his string as is proper.

+1 for something that will (hopefully) quiet the metalheads a bit. I'm up for trying it... I like just about anything that isn't so fast I feel like a geezer because my old(er) fingers can't keep up.

But that'd be a 00 ;)

(TBH, it's probably 15 years since I wrote any C. Don't have to worry about stuff like that in any of the languages I've used in the past decade. :D)

You see? You got Oasis -although I never complained about it (OK, I'm doing it now)- and I'll get Mastodon. There's music for everybody.

I also got those other packs, though.

I saw Mastadon live when I saw Dethklok many years ago. Sadly, they were the third opening band, and by that time my ears were exhausted, and had napkins in them(small club sized venue, and they used their 20,000 seat sized sound system anyway, and didn't adjust the volume). I remember thinking they were better than the 1st two bands though. Can't wait to play them!

Wow, that was uncomfortable to watch. Not because of the song, I like mastodon, but because of the crowd. Most of the girls in front looked like they didn't even know the band. People weren't singing, or really paying attention to the band. Which is sad, because they are a good band. But that's a kind of trend at least in my country lately. People going to concerts just for the sake of it, even if they don't know but a single song.

Oh well...

On topic, I will buy these songs.

I think I haven't been so stoked for a DLC since Weezer. Mastodon is one of those bands that have a special place in my heart and the song selection for the pack is top notch (apart from it being a meager 3-pack and not a 5-pack or a 10-pack ). And while their music is pretty complex, overall it's not too fast and Brent rarely shreds, so I hope I'll be able to have a go at these tunes.

And now for something completely different: have anyone else here been wondering what would lyrics track for Bladecatcher look like if it made the cut instead of one of the songs?

Speaking of awkward videos, check out this new Black Sabbath video. I can see the studios thinking at work in this video, bring in some smokin hot twenty somethings in tight cocktail dresses to stand near the stage, just looks weird with aging metal gods lol.

Wooo! Take my money! I've seen them live a few times.

I hope it's all detuned. I put heavy strings on my primary guitar, and can't get to E standard anymore.

Just got back from the Mastodon show, and it was fantastic. The venue is my least favourite venue in town because it's far from transit and they don't treat their customers right, but all three bands rocked. I'd go see either of the warmup bands (Kvelertak and Gojira) as headliners if they came back. The spot where I was standing turned out to be the middle of the mosh pit, so I got swept all the way forward, and wound up in the second row (fighting desperately to keep my feet and avoid being elbowed) where I got to watch how Troy was playing very closely.

Ironically, after all the Riff Repeater time I put in on "Blood and Thunder," they didn't play it. But I'm psyched for Tuesday!

By the way, out of curiosity, why "Black Tongue" and not "Curl of the Burl?"

I agree about Gojira, I saw them once and they were excellent.

From wikipedia :

"and was performed live on Late Night with Conan O'Brien on November 1, 2006."

11co01co2006
11/01/2006 is for November 1, 2006

and co for Conan O'Brien.

Curl of the Burl is tuned to AGCFAD.

Super stoked for this pack, wish it was more but I'll take what I can get.

I've had workouts where my clothes have been drier afterwards. For that matter, I've fallen in lakes before and had drier clothes half an hour later....
