I've just flown a winter mission for the first time in a few weeks and I noticed that the snow, which always looked very cold and realistic, now has a greenish tint to it. I'm not sure if this is since I upgraded to AEP or since the new 2.01 patch. Has anyone else noticed this, is it a bug? Maybe it's just the effect of global warming! Anyway, the snow landscapes don't look so good now.

So long as it's not yellow http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I haven't noticed this yet myself, I'll check it out.

What graphics card are you using?

Rgr that on the graphics card. Whatever card you are using, go to the desktop, right click, then settings/ advanced/ then depending on what your card is, color correction.

Todays cards are GREEN HEAVY! Also if you are using an ATI card, in OpenGL FB changes to the card's default settings (Blech!!!! GuhREEN!!!). If you use alt+tab, or the "Win" key to return to the desktop, then click on the game in the taskbar to reopen it, it will load with your color settings. Sometimes it takes several tries http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

Good Luck

edit: Try opening the IL2 Setup tool (start/programs/IL2FB) and set it for DirectX to see if this is the problem. DirectX will load with your custom color settings.

Calibrate your monitor - You'll be amazed...

Get WiziWYG http://www.praxisoft.com/pages/products.wiziwyg.html utility to calibrate it or use Adobe Gamma (if you have Adobe Photoshop) - its under Control Panel if you have it...
