Ok i have been Musing over subject 16 who was happened to be a common decedent of Adam,

I have been paying very close attention to the encrypted glyphs in Assassins Creed 2 and it occurred to me that High ranking members of the pre curser race also forged the so called pieces of Eden to pacify the workers and ultimately crushing their minds in to submission to construct the Garden of Eden of Eden to exercise their will to control inhabitants of this enigmatic race.

when Desmond entered the Nexus during Revelations and his final encounter in the Grand temple in AC3 Jupiter essentially guided him to the location.

TWCB did not leave Desmond with any hope it was either the world crashed and burned perfect for the reshaping by the Templars or release Juno to carry out her final will.

To me the Pre Curser Race shared the same ideology as the Templars which has made me think ? are the Assassins fighting a losing battle ?

Yep, pretty much. Templars have pretty much the same ideas as TWCB: subdue mankind via mind control. They're just doing it for different reasons. We were little more than robots to TWCB, just tools. When humans liberated themselves (Adam and Eve), it was the same as if our computers suddenly turned against us.

There's been some subtle retconning since AC2, I think. They've kind of changed the dynamics between TWCB and humans by saying there are "good" and "bad" TWCB, Juno being a bad one and Jupiter and Minerva being the good ones. Which IMO is a dumbing down of the conflict. Minerva acted pretty condescending towards Ezio at the end of AC2, like she didn't even think he was worth her attention since her goal was to communicate with Desmond. I think all TWCB harbored some resentment towards humans after the revolt, not that there was this divide between those who wanted to set them free out of goodwill and the evil slavers. TWCB will always view humans as tools. The only reason we're even worth their time is because we're their only chance of reviving their race.

Compare this with Templars who thinks mankind should be free of TWCB, but will happily use other people as tools if they think it will ultimately help them. It almost feels like the Templars know or assume TWCB will one day rise again, and are trying to prepare for war.

I agree that the First Civilization aimed to control humans and use them as a docile workforce. The only difference is that the Templars do not own the human race, they’re part of it and they gave themselves the authority to be their leaders. However, The First Civilization created/made humans evolve from pre-existing animal species using their superior genetic engineering expertise and knowledge. So we literally belong to them. We are their pets, their products. So I think they have the right to use us just like how we give ourselves the right to capture a wild animal to eat it’s meat or put a chain or leash around their neck and walk them in streets for our own comfort and entertainment.

I’m not saying I’m with controlling humans but I’m saying that the First Civilization are more deserving to control the human race than the Templars are. The Templars are just self-righteous humans who find themselves more deserving of submitting others to their will than others, all in the name of the greater good.
