http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/10.gif I'm starting a movement to get the last USN carrier biplane fighter in PF. Keep your voices down, somebody might hear us.

Ok, I know it was removed from service in 1941. I know it might be impossible to get cockpit layouts, drawings, and reliable flight model info. But let's stick our foot in the door now and get cracking on whether this can be done or not. I want a flyable F3F. It should be a real trip to fly one.

Actually, there's quite a bit of info available on the F3F-3, I helped, in a smallish way, with the development of the Aeroplane heaven version

Chuck- your right on TARGET there! There are 3 Repro flying F3Fs in Arizona (I think)! and yes, in CFS2 there is an old 1% version, and the great Aeroplane heaven version. It would be great to see them as Official. UBI is new to me, so Im not sure how you guys get add-on planes!http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Sometimes I'm not sure- BUT there is a big movement for "crap planes" around here. We seem to love mediocre aircraft.

Ted-
What a pretty plane. I hope against hope we get it. It should be a great plane to skin for, too. I love those late '30s paint schemes.

That plane was an interesting little plane.

Apparently it was subject to inverse spins.

And apparently, inverse spin recover instruction had been over looked in the Navy pilot training of the day.

These planes were also used for training new pilots at the begining of WWII.

You can see where this is going, can't you?
