I'm writing this on behalf of our CO, "Copperhead" who seems to be having technical issues posting new messages.

The 310th VFS and 380th VBG is proud to be part of the FB community and we have recently been making improvements to our website. We now have available for DL all the flight panels available in FB thru the 2.1 release at http://www.310thvfs.com/AC_Panels.php

Some of you will recognize these as the same panels hosted by 777AVG. Since several of us transfered to the 310th following the Triple 7's disbanding, we have resurected them with improvements and additions. Please feel free to DL these files for your reference. This is one way we have elected to give a little something back to the community. S! to all.

Just a little friendly feed back, the engine gauges no longer look that way on the 110. They have been replaced(2.01) by a different look and with gauges that do work.

Thanks Orheim! I certainly did have a few items mislabled. I've made those corrections and will have the corrected image posted shortly. By the nature of the graphic layout, I cannot include all of the callouts and still be able to see the cockpit! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif Therefore, I've tried to keep it to the critical instruments (operational in FB), or to those that could be confused with another guage.

lovely work, very useful on some of the japanese, swedish and rumanian planes which i hadnt figured out, and the supercharger info is useful too.

two suggestions tho (respectful ones) if where available the supercharger switch altitudes could be included? (course, you can just look at the usefully labelled pressure gauge)

also, more of a bug than a suggestion, but the page doesnt seem to work with mozilla firefox, but thats no biggie as i have IE as well for these occasions.

but still fantastic work! must have taken ages...

Dizz_310th, I've got Java v1.3.1 and v1.3.1_02 in my machine. I wonder if I'd be ok if I uninstalled them. They're in my Control Panel so it they might be ok to uninstall.. I hope. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

They were ones that needed to be installed for a program. (can't remember which one it was for to view web pages, but not too worried about it)

tfu_iain1,
The supercharger altitudes was something I considered, but since not available for all, I decided to leave them out. Guess I had to draw a line somewhere. I'll consider doing it as I'll continue to tweak these for some time I'm sure.

We are aware of the mozilla problem. It has to do with the programming of our website. Unfortunately, we won't have it resolved any time soon. Those with access to IE shouldn't have a problem.

Thanks for the excellent job Dizz and the rest of the 310th team. A lot of work obviously went in to this project. It shows, and is appreciated.

Since you seem receptive to additional info, I'll add my .02. On the 110G-2 panel, the gauge labeled H¶he (to the right of the climb indicator) is the radio altimeter, and apparently works correctly in v2.01 (I haven't checked it myself yet, too busy flying the new stuff.)

Great site! I have one complaint, however. I couldn't find a cockpit layout for the PZL P.11c. I know the P.11 is Forgotten Battles' forgotten plane, but it would be great to have a layout for it.

Outstanding post!! Top draw work by 310th guys. Great bunch, BTW. Had the privelege to fly with some of you on Warclouds 44+ server this past weekend. S!

Do not know if I am correct about this input, but believe the "Low Fuel" warning light on the Spit is the one just to the left of the fuel gauge, not the one above it as pictured. Only reason I say this is that I fly the Spit alot, and the light you indicate seems to always be on, while the light to the left of the fuel gauge only comes on when I'm down to about 1/8 of a tank.

Big S!! for these pics. This has been lacking in the IL2 manual.

CYA up there!

Please don't approach anyone with these flight panels as the gospel. I've done my best with research and in some cases, made an educated guess...which by the great comments back in this thread we now know is not always correct!

EDIT!!! My bad! G-Meter is correctly labled on the lower LEFT. The lower center is a "instrament pressure" and I have no clue as to what it does.

Excellent site. My next-door neighbor is a retired Soviet Army captain who has about 50 hours of flight training from the officer's academy he went through, and he has translated the I-16's panel for me with more detail than the one you have on your site. If you're interested, I can post my translation. I can probably get more Russian panels translated, too.

Dizz_310th

S! Jaguar,
I would be delighted to see the translation. I may not be able to place everything on the panel, but I'll bet we can vastly improve upon it! After, we can have a look and see if he's still interested in looking at the others.
Many thanks!

Alright, sorry it took so long, I had trouble uploading the image to my server. This translation is similar to the one you have, just with a little more detail. My neighbor's English isn't very good, I'm still not quite sure what the difference between 5 and 7 is. He also translated a couple of the non-functional items in the cockpit but I left them off for clarity. If this helps, I can probably have him look at some others too.
