I am getting white lines on the edges of the screen, mostly at the bottom but I have also seen them at the top and sides. These lines are not visible when playing at 720p. They are also not visible when I change my TV display area setting from full pixel to normal. is anyone else getting this?

I tried posting this in tech help but kept on getting a error.

it's just too much for the tv to handle! lol.

but really what's wrong with playing it at 720p?

do your other games do that?

I have tried it on two different TVs, Sony and a Samsung, and I get the same results.

So this is a TV issue not a problem with the game?

My other games don't have these lines

Is anyone else who is playing the game at 1080p full pixel/screen fit getting these lines?

I play at 1080p on a 42" LG 630 - 'just scan' and don't have that.

Looks like it could be an issue with the TV's formatting - some games may have more 'dead space' at the edge, so you wouldn't notice - you should check for a firmware update from the TV's manufacture for your main set.

Very odd issue though, I take it the 16:9 display ratio is not suitable?

16:9 or "normal" as its called on my Sony Bravia KDL40R473 overscans the picture , so I'm losing some of the image. so really this is only hiding the issue not solving it.

Well I can only suggest you contact Sony support - and check you have the current firmware for the TV.

Ubisoft Support, may have some suggestions - however it maybe an issue they can only suggest simple fixes for - which you may have already done.

I had that at the beginning for like a minute. I play at 1080p on 55' Samsung, I adjusted my screen size and it was fine after that

hey Mr_shade, I have a question. I subscribed for the Ubisoft email news and elerts a few months ago but I haven't received one email yet lol. Is there a way to sign up to get updates on games from Ubi or do I just have to check Facebook and twitter to see if anything is new? Because I would really love to get elerts as soon as you guys release a new trailer or a announcement about a game, that's why I signed up for the email list, but I don't get anything. Just wondering. Thanks. And welcome back :)

nah when I had it on "screen fit" it had the lines, but when I put it to normal 16:9, it was perfect. Its not cutting anything out, 16:9 is the normal

Its not cutting anything out, 16:9 is the normal Load up google home page on PS4 Web browser press square to go to full screen, if you cannot see the black bar at the top of the screen with +You, Search, images etc, you are overscanning your image.
