Ground-level sounds seem to travel much further, and at much louder volume than above-ground sounds. With an movable camera (like after a crash), you'll find that sound is completly different at ground leve.

This is with the highest sound engine settings on a Realtek ALC658 sound chip.

Anyone else notice this on other chips?
