CS7 - Very Large Jumps Racing - Hard
April 2, 2011 I wanted to play with some super sized jumps and i went big. It's low on decoration but big on the air. It also has many branching paths and multiple ways to cross the finish line so look for the best line to get the best time.

October 18, 2010 A lot of tight fits and a close in camera add to the tension on this map. Not for the claustrophobic.

CS6 - Why the Y Racing - Medium
October 18, 2010 A big trip down. I'd been making a lot of upward moving maps and I wanted to play with big reverse jumps. Those two ideas formed this map, a series of big jumps back and forth across a deep hole will get you from the very top to the very bottom of the available space with a nice big jump for the finale.

CS6 - World 8-4 Racing - Hard
October 18, 2010 A throwback to the old days this map is inspired by the castle levels on the original Super Mario Bros. With that in mind the medal times aren't based on time but # of lives, 0 faults=platinum, 1 fault=gold, 2 faults=silver, 3 faults or more and you've used all your lives. Dodge fireballs, jump piranha plants and even duke it out with a few ghetto Koopas on your way to the final showdown with Bowser.

CS5 - The High Climb Racing - Medium
April 27, 2010 Basically a big uphill level in the silhouette style. Had a lot of fun with this one. Also got into doing alternate endings on CS5, this has a fairly easy to find alt ending that skips half or more of the map.

CS4 - Swivelphace Racing - Medium
Jan. 24, 2010 I made this track with my homie Swivelphace in mind. He usually does poorly on my maps as he tends to just gas it and go as big as possible. With that in mind I tried to make a track that was all speed and big jumps. Slip up and it''ll slow you down, but stick every jump and you'll rock the track times with relative ease.

CS4 - The Operative 3 Racing - Hard
Jan. 24, 2010 The third in my Operative series, The Operative 3 begins where Area 42° left off. This map is a continuation of the facility run by the secret SHOGUN Corperation. I'm actually working on some back story for this, I'll be dropping info on Facebook as I develop it. As far as the map goes it has some pretty sweet moments I'd rather you see for yourself so I won't give anything away here.

CS4 - Road Kill Down the Stairs - Easy
Jan. 24, 2010 After playing around with the cars a little I was struck with inspiration. Inspiration that finally brought me back to one of my favorite game modes to design for, down the stairs. If you've played many of my maps you probably already know I take great pleasure in causing your rider great pain and this is one of those tracks where I really get to indulge in that. I don't want to say too much, but like my last down the stairs map Bone Destruction getting a high score is easy, the real fun is in making it all the way to the end of the map.

CS4 - Motor City Racing - Hard
Jan. 24, 2010 This one is all about cars. It's also the spiritual successor to Things Fall Apart so another appropriate title could be "Lag City." Lots of physics on display with cars driving, jumping, crashing, exploding and taking you along for the ride. I had a lot of fun making this one. Beware the junkyard, the most challenging section.

CS4 - Stunt Race Racing - Medium
Jan. 24, 2010 This is the racing version of my in flames map Stunt Man from CS3. Mostly unchanged besides checkpoints and some lighting differences. A few physics objects react a little differently towards the end.

CS4 - Mission Control Racing - Hard
Jan. 24, 2010 This is the first map I made with the Big Pack DLC. I started just messing with the new tools and objects, when I came upon the rocket propelled missile I had an awesome idea. It was still early in the map but once I built it it was clear it needed to be the end, so I adjusted the rest of the map to fit around arguably my grandest finale yet. Like some other maps in this series I don't want to give too much away, check it out for yourself.
Note: The physics on this map sometimes react a little wonky. If you make it to the final obstacle without faulting the physics almost always do not work properly and send you just a little too far to the right of where you need to be. Sorry about this I tried a while to fix it but nothing seemed to help. I also noticed today the platinum medal is set at 0 faults which with this glitch is basically impossible so I'll fix that as soon as I can.

Dec 21, 2009 I didn't have much of a goal for these two besides a Groundhog type map with multiple tracks within one map. I was hoping to do 3 but I ran out of objects before finishing 2. I feel like the lack of direction shows with a somewhat weak environment, but there are still some cool parts and I had a lot of fun crafting the ending on both maps

CS3 - Imbroglio Racing - Medium
Dec 21, 2009 This one was interesting because I built it backwards. I had an idea for the ending so I built it first, then built the rest of them map from there. I also went crazy with the catwalks, I made a few for Cannibal Complex but I ran out of object space trying to create some elaborate catwalk mazes, so I took this chance to really go wild. The catwalks connect throughout the map, if you could get off your bike and walk around you could walk from start to finish on the catwalks. Oh, and watch your head.

CS3 - Kimberly Racing - Hard
Dec 21, 2009 I've been trying for a while to create obstacles that played kind of like puzzles, this is the closest I've come so far to achieving that. Like Upward Mobility it was kind of hard to check point because it is a very vertical level, but I saw that as part of the challenge, each level of the structure is kind of like it's own level with it's own set of obstacles and challenges within the map as a whole. There's only 1 or 2 parts where I'd really have liked to put another checkpoint but simply couldn't.

CS3 - Stunt Man In Flames - Medium
Dec 21, 2009 So far each map set had 1 skill game so I didn't want to break that trend for CS3. For this one I tried In Flames. This one has two paths and and a finish line that once you find the right line isn't too hard to reach. This may possibly appear in racing form in CS4.

CS3 - Upward Mobility Racing- Hard
Dec 21, 2009 I wanted to try something a little more vertical with this one. Checkpointing a vertical level proved to be rather difficult so there are some challenging stretches between checkpoints. I also had a serious problem with framerate lag when I started adding lights, I did my best to keep it to a minimum but there are a few spots where it slows down a bit and one dark part where it simply wouldn't let me add any lights.

CS1 - Glass Road 1.5 Racing- Easy
Oct. 28, 2009 The driving line is exactly the same as the original Glass Road but I have made a few changes. I'd kept my backgrounds pretty bare because I was concerned building a road out of glass would kill my object limit, so I recently went back in and maxed out my objects adding in details to the environment. The other main change is that I'd gotten a few complaints that the Platinum medal time was unattainable, so I've relaxed that based on the times that have been posted on TrialsHD.net.

CS2 - Shogun 14 Racing- Medium
Oct. 28, 2009 I literally made this map just so that I would have an even 14 maps allowing me to have two distinct groups of maps to share, hence the name Shogun 14 (technically it's not my 14th map). For this one I wanted to mess around with some bigger good flowing jumps. I put some climbing and other obstacles in as well to mix it up and I'm a big fan of alternate paths so there is a part where the path splits in two. I tried to make the jumps flow well while also making them hard enough for it to still be a challenge. Let me know what you think.

CS1 - Things Fall Apart Racing- Medium
Oct. 28, 2009 For this map I just wanted to play around with big structures that blow up or fall apart dynamically. That being said with all the dynamic physics action this map tends to show a lot of frame-rate slow-down, just a warning. This is also my shortest map yet because of all the objects & triggers that went into each structure. You start out on an exploding/collapsing platform, there are two criss-crossing paths and this is my first map with an alternate finish line.

CS2 - Ascent Hill Climb- Hard
Oct. 12, 2009 This one goes out to byers101 who sparked a little inspiration by asking if I had any Hill Climb maps in the works. I had been thinking about doing a map that started way down underground and ended up in the sky which is a perfect concept for a Hill Climb level so once the flame was lit I had to get to work. Kicked this one out pretty quick, but it's actually one of my favorite maps so far (which is funny considering I hate climbing obstacles). It gets pretty crazy towards the the top, but I hope to see some platinums because I spent a lot of time on some of the higher areas. Since it's pretty hard and I want people to see the whole level I'm working on adding in checkpoints and making a racing version.

Oct. 8, 2009 This is a continuation of my last map, Infiltration. Now that you're in you must navigate this secret facility. Unlock all it's hidden mysteries through a little puzzle action and a number of branching paths, but beware; some alternate paths you only get one shot at, then you're forced to take the longer harder route.

CS1 - Great Escape RMX Racing- Medium
Sept. 28, 2009 This is a remix of my first full map Great Escape. I changed around the end, added in some obstacles at some of the really easy points and did a little to address some framerate slow down (although there is still a lot, big multi-tiered explosions will do that). I just realized I didn't update the medal times to reflect the other changes, I'll be sure to take care of that asap.

CS1 - Infiltration Racing- Medium
Sept. 22, 2009 This map is something of a prequel to my map Great Escape. I was chatting with XBL user Doomsdaydev about map building the other day. He was asking for some advice on a map he was building but I misunderstood his question and thought he was looking for an idea to get him started so I said, "Infiltrate a secret facility." Since that wasn't the insight he was looking for I decided I'd use that concept for my next map. As usual I had some big plans that were thwarted by the object limit. You start out dropping from some sort of plane (an idea I got from AkatsukiUK's map Beer Raid) onto a mountain. Make your way down through some decaying caves before coming back up to actually breech the facility grounds. I had some cool ideas for stuff that could happen once you make it into the facility but I ran out of object while building my first room so I feel this map may turn into a trilogy with a new map that takes place in the facility and Great Escape being the conclusion. I also really wish I had the ability to trigger some sound effects along with lights, a siren or two would have been a really nice addition to this map, I added a few in for the video.

CS1 - Sippin' the Sky Racing- Easy
Sept 22, 2009 This is the easy difficulty version of Trippin' the Sky. When I finished that map I couldn't decide on a lighting set-up so I decided to make a few versions at various difficulty levels with the different lighting set-ups I wanted to try. For this one it's day. The obstacles have been altered a little more this time to make the map easy. The track rides pretty fast, if speed and big jumps are your thing I think you'll enjoy this one.

CS2 - Rippin' the Sky Racing- Medium
Sept 19, 2009 This is the medium difficulty version of Trippin' the Sky. When I finished that map I couldn't decide on a lighting set-up so I decided to make a few versions at various difficulty levels with the different lighting set-ups I wanted to try. For this one it's night. All the obstacles are basically the same, just slightly easier.

CS2 - Trippin' the Sky Racing- Hard
Sept 15, 2009 For this map I had a two goals. I wanted to make a map that took place on rooftops and felt that way so on this map if you fall, you fall far. To that end I'm also a big fan of katamariUK's map City Run but at the same time it kind of bugged me that it starts out on a roof top, but in the map editor it is on the cube layer with the brick surface so that as you go down the sides of buildings, streets and whatnot are all the dirt blocks, so I wanted to see a map with skyscrapers that are using the blocks that look like building walls. I also wanted to work with negative space, I've been having trouble with maxing out my objects so I wanted to build something that took less objects but was still visually interesting. So in this map you get big jumps over big gaps with long falls and of course it wouldn't be a Cannibal Shogun map if things weren't falling apart or exploding as you make your way. This map is part of a series, I also have medium and easy versions that I will be releasing shortly. And to all you frame rate Nazis this map does have a few places were the frame rate slows down a bit. When I was first done with the main layout the entire map was running incredibly slow, over a weekend I probably devoted more hours to trying to fix the frame rate issues than I actually spent building the map. I do this for fun, I don't get paid, I can't spend hours every day trying to get the map running perfectly. I hope you can overlook it and still enjoy the ride.

CS2 - The Mine Racing- Hard
Sept 6, 2009 Choose your path. In this map you navigate an abandoned mining operation, there are multiple paths and the lower you go the easier it is (more or less). I had some grand plans for this one but they had to be heavily watered down when I maxed out my objects way earlier than expected. Glass Road Racing - Easy Aug 30, 2009 The name says it all, just gun it and try to survive as a road made of glass falls apart around you. A few mildly difficult jumps/obstacles but mostly really easy to complete. Alternate paths with a big finish.

Great Escape Racing - Medium Aug 29, 2009 For this one I imagined escaping from a Bond type villain's complex as it was self destructing at the climax. This is my most challenging level yet and also has my favorite section I've created so far. At one point you have to navigate a scaffolding that is collapsing in front of you amid a huge fire and many explosions. Since this was my first big level I was doing a lot of experimenting so style wise it doesn't always feel consistent but if you like explosions I think you'll enjoy this level. The medal times are a little messed up (platinum is impossible) but it wouldn't save after I tried changing them, apparently that change makes the level too big to save. Road to Hell Racing - Beginner Aug 28, 2009 Nothing special here. My first level so I was just messing around with the tools. Navigate a few obstacles then hit a big ramp down that ends in a jump over a line of explosives, can you reach the finish before the explosions get you (usually you can). Your tracks are nice but the slowdown ruined it for me... I think the hard track is way too short too, otherwise they would be keepers but I just can't stand any slowndown. Glass Road was my favorite, many good ideas.

@ QcChopper - Thanks. I kind of dig the slow-down when jumping through that room on fire, but I get why people don't like it. to me making one of these maps is almost like making a little mini movie, so when it slows down during a bunch of explosions and stuff I see it as slo-mo kicking in so I can savor a sweet moment on the map. That particular map was also a bit longer but it was too big, I actually had to delete a pretty big section in order to save it then once I was done I realized the whole end section was really easy and went by really fast. Maybe I'll revisit it someday and make it a little harder at the end but at the time I wanted to just move on to some new ideas.

@ Mantis - Thanks, man. Glad you dig 'em. That platinum time is pretty rough, I figured since the map was so easy I'd make the medals a little harder to get. Honestly I don't think I've gotten a platinum yet. When I made the times I took the best time I clocked and made it just a little less.

Tried Night Shift, haven't completed it yet. I'm stuck at the beam part and it's irritating me. I think it might be too narrow a window for success, I can't get my guy up to the platform. The best I got was my rear wheel hooked on the edge.

the catapult part is difficult, you do really have to stick it just right. the trick is to not use your gas to adjust. if you kill your backwards momentum too much you won't have enough to get up there. when the shipping container comes down your back tire should be right around the cross beam that the catapult beam is sitting on.

I have posted a new build with a few minor tweeks, one of which is a game camera during that section, not sure if it makes it easier or harder but you get a better view of all the action

The Mine Racing- Hard
Sept 6, 2009 Choose your path. In this map you navigate an abandoned mining operation, there are multiple paths and the lower you go the easier it is (more or less). I had some grand plans for this one but they had to be heavily watered down when I maxed out my objects way earlier than expected. loved bone destruction, totally mad lol. I think you have an affinity with explosives. Also enjoyed the speed of glass run and its just the right length. Night shift looks nice but its very difficult to see what your doing especially getting to the early checkpoints, perhaps increase the brightness of the ambient light just a bit more and place a few more checkpoints. I might just be going blind lol...

I get what your doing with the explosive section and the slow down, you have made lag work for the scene. I think as QcChopper said slow down isnt part of the game and its something people dont like because it is associated with lag. You could delete 4-5 of those ocean of fires you have in that section and still not lose the idea you got going there. It just needs a few extra fps for the player to be able to control the bike properly.

Will try your new map. All in all nice work=) your bringing the hollywood factor to trials

Trippin' the Sky Racing- Hard
Sept 15, 2009 For this map I had two goals. I wanted to make a map that took place on rooftops and felt that way so on this map if you fall, you fall far. To that end I'm also a big fan of katamariUK's map City Run but at the same time it kind of bugged me that it starts out on a roof top, but in the map editor it is on the cube layer with the brick surface so that as you go down the sides of buildings, streets and whatnot are all the dirt blocks, so I wanted to see a map with skyscrapers that are using the blocks that look like building walls. I also wanted to work with negative space, I've been having trouble with maxing out my objects so I wanted to build something that took less objects but was still visually interesting. So in this map you get big jumps over big gaps with long falls and of course it wouldn't be a Cannibal Shogun map if things weren't falling apart or exploding as you make your way. This map is part of a series, I also have medium and easy versions that I will be releasing shortly. And to all you frame rate Nazis this map does have a few places were the frame rate slows down a bit. When I was first done with the main layout last Friday the entire map was running incredibly slow, over Saturday and Sunday I probably devoted more hours to trying to fix the frame rate issues than I actually spent building the map. I do this for fun, I don't get paid, I can't spend hours every day trying to get the map running perfectly (on a work day I devote at least 2 to 3 hours to map building, on a non-work day I've been known to spend 12+ hours in the editor), so if you really can't stand frame rate slow down than I'm warning you now, you probably just shouldn't bother. I don't want to be a **** but I've spent over a week working on this map and it's two easier builds, I'd rather not hear a bunch of complaints about the frame rate which I've easily spent 15+ hours getting to the state it's currently in.

I've seen on the leaderboard site that a couple people posted platinum times. I've personally yet to get platinum on any track, mine or someone else's. I know there are a lot of people that are way better than me at this game so I figure the best time I can get is not the best possible time so I always set the platinum time better than my best time.

The UFO is a bunch of big ramps. started with two ramps stacked, the bottom one upside down then repeated and rotated them until I had the shape.

Ascent Hill Climb- Hard
Oct. 12, 2009 This one goes out to byers101 who sparked a little inspiration by asking if I had any Hill Climb maps in the works. I had been thinking about doing a map that started way down underground and ended up in the sky which is a perfect concept for a Hill Climb level so once the flame was lit I had to get to work. Kicked this one out pretty quick, but it's actually one of my favorite maps so far (which is funny considering I hate climbing obstacles). It gets pretty crazy towards the the top, but I hope to see some platinums because I spent a lot of time on some of the higher areas. Since it's pretty hard and I want people to see the whole level I'm working on adding in checkpoints and making a racing version.

the racing version will be done soon, i made it a little easier and prettied up some of the higher sections. just gotta figure out medal times and it'll be ready to post

Glass Road 1.5 Racing- Easy
Oct. 28, 2009 The driving line is exactly the same as the original Glass Road but I have made a few changes. I'd kept my backgrounds pretty bare because I was concerned building a road out of glass would kill my object limit, so I recently went back in and maxed out my objects adding in details to the environment. The other main change is that I'd gotten a few complaints that the Platinum medal time was unattainable, so I've relaxed that based on the times that have been posted on TrialsHD.net.

Shogun 14 Racing- Medium
Oct. 28, 2009 I literally made this map just so that I would have an even 14 maps allowing me to have two distinct groups of maps to share, hence the name Shogun 14 (technically it's not my 14th map). For this one I wanted to mess around with some bigger good flowing jumps. I put some climbing and other obstacles in as well to mix it up and I'm a big fan of alternate paths so there is a part where the path splits in two. I tried to make the jumps flow well while also making them hard enough for it to still be a challenge. Let me know what you think.

Things Fall Apart Racing- Medium
Oct. 28, 2009 For this map I just wanted to play around with big structures that blow up or fall apart dynamically. That being said with all the dynamic physics action this map tends to show a lot of frame-rate slow-down, just a warning. This is also my shortest map yet because of all the objects & triggers that went into each structure. Oct. 28, 2009 The racing version of my Hill Climb map Ascent. I made some of the obstacles a little easier and added in check points so everyone would get to see the top which I find pretty fun.

the new batch is crazy, you have definitely mastered your build style now. i like cannibalcomplex the most but they were all sick as hell like usual. a couple of them bugged me with cheapo faults but once you've played it a few times you can do most of this stuff pretty easily. the kimberly one seemed pretty touchy but you still came thru with style and some wicked tricks and visuals. love it all man, i still got all the oldass versions of your stuff from waay back too

I've got a new set of maps out, CS3. 7 new maps, available for download now on XBL. I don't have time to get into descriptions now but I will when I can. I just found out, that itīs very easy to cheat on your Track "Bone Destruction". Just jump at the beginning to the barrel at the end of the jump and let your Bike roll down. It will release the Explosion and you have 206 broken bones! Mayber you better take this explosion out (but then you canīt jump that far)...

^^ yeah my dude found this playing the track too.. all you gotta do is bail on the ramp and the barrel explodes near you causing the max bone breakage instantly..

good looking out. however i was aware that there are a few places on that map where you can hit explosions that instantly break all your bones. i considered taking them out but decided the fun in that map wasn't getting a high score, it's making it all the way to the bottom.

Lovely lighting and i like what you have done with the 'closeness' of your newest tracks. Its best described as like being inside a doll house and you can see each floor as you ride. Oh an congrats on being the first i think on using pink for a dust background on kimberly lol. my fav is the mole series and the second part to imbroglio is cool but i found the beginning a little awkward to see where you were going, might just be the detail you have in the foreground getting in the way of those nasty horizontal poles http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif .

I don't want to spoil anything but just wow. I wish i could remember the names but i did them b4 the saints game and i've forgotten. I think one is called infiltrator and the end of that one amazed me, very james bond. And the other one is called Control Room or something like that and the end of that one made me feel like i did at the end of Sixth Sense...like "did that just happen".

Then the one where you go down the big incline. I always dig it when you're going so fast that hitting the gas would slow you down. Lots of good jumps on that one.

and the crazyness that goes down on motor city is sick...it's the end of the world as we know it crazyness.

and your bone breaking game was pretty ingenious. i did that one for awhile.

i just searched for your facebook but i couldn't find it.

anyway shoguns latest pack is a must have. Good job dude.

October 18, 2010 A big trip down. I'd been making a lot of upward moving maps and I wanted to play with big reverse jumps. Those two ideas formed this map, a series of big jumps back and forth across a deep hole will get you from the very top to the very bottom of the available space with a nice big jump for the finale.

CS6 - World 8-4 Racing - Hard
October 18, 2010 A throwback to the old days this map is inspired by the castle levels on the original Super Mario Bros. With that in mind the medal times aren't based on time but # of lives, 0 faults=platinum, 1 fault=gold, 2 faults=silver, 3 faults or more and you've used all your lives. Dodge fireballs, jump piranha plants and even duke it out with a few ghetto Koopas on your way to the final showdown with Bowser.
