The F1M2 was actually used to some success as a fighter and dive-bomber.

This is close, although I'm not sure of the actual disignation. I figured I'd post it for those who may not have seen it yet.

PS: What is the actual disignation of this aircraft?

Great little plane! It is also in my "must have" list.

Does anyone have any good modelling info on this plane? Maybe the "maru Mechanic" number 16 or 20? If enough good resources would come up, who knows, maybe I will model it. For now, there is not much on my hand to do it.

F1M2? Increadable! How about A5M?, Ki-27? The Aussies had Beauforts, Beaufighters, Mosquitos, and Bostons (A-20). How about them?
Anyone got a list?

I'd be game for a J7W Shinden, but only if the Allies get some comparable late 45/46 stuff. P-80A, P-51H, P-82B sorta stuff. But only after the actual historical warplanes have been done. Don't wanna divert resources...

That's a float-equipped version of the A6M Zero, nicknamed "Rufe". http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
