Several times a week, as its mandated by the USAF. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif Otherwise, my butt and hands would slowly merge with the HOTAS and seat until they became a single symbiotic entity, a cyborg needing electricity and microwave dinners to stay alive....

What?

Actually I do exercise regularly, especially since most of what I do involves sitting around, so it`s important to keep the body active by other means.

When I am not working my a$$ off at university (I am a final year mechanical engineering student http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/53.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif) I am often to be found either at the gym or out on the river rowing in a four or eight.

Im behind a computer for 10+ hours a day so I goto the gym everyday during the middle of the day other wise I think i'd be doing impressions of Jabba the Hutt by now.

Well, I'm a tree cutter and I work outside in the woods five days a week and get plenty of exercise.

On weekends, I pray for rain so I can plop my a$$ in a chair, fly for a few hours and not feel guilty about it. (At least so my woman doesn't try to make me feel guilty about it.)

In the winter when it's too cold to work, or on rain-out days, I'll do a set of push-ups every time I get shot down. After lawn darting five or six times, and your arms start to burn, you grow one eyebrow and fly with much more determination and care. The burning arms help with the immersion too. Really.

I rollerblade from work about 3 times a week. It's a 45 min journey and at my height (6'5") I go fast.

I also mountain bike and walk.

surprisingly fit lot!!!!no bad thing.I myself am a keen mountianeer in scotland but am not keen on the gym approach to fitness, rather walk 50km with 3000m ascent.
The drinking involved at the end of the day keeps my arms in full strength!!! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

If weather is good, I use my inline rollerskates to/from work. It's a short trip, only 5 or so minutes, but the way home is usually extended to an hour or there about.

Otherwise, occationally, I go out lindy-hop dancing, which is quite exhausting. I'm not in the shape I was a few ears ago, when I was out dancing 3 nights a week. I can't believe I could go on for hours on end then.

rowing and drinking.

Football a while back but dodgy knees (low speed skiing accidents) forced an early bath.

I skateboard and mountainboard fanatically.

Usually I get a good three hours in at least one evening during the week, and I spend the vast majority of the weekend on a board.

21 years of martial arts. had about a 5 year part where I sat on my butt but had enough of that. I do about 1.5 hours of weight-lifting in the morning and about 2 hours of various drills from my martial arts background (Soo bak Do and Teoul Moon).

Does drinking count as exercise?

Pretty difficult to get back home when the pavement keeps spinning around...

No seriously, I should do some exercise but at the moment I cannot find the time to do more than walk whenever I can and some weights to keep my arms active: having a desk job can be quite bad from that point of view.

Running after my 2yr old daughter can be quite exahusting. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Apart from that I lift weights every other day, my job just requires walking around alot and checking product. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Well, I just joined the track team at the start of the season and I love it! I've been running a 3/4 mile or a full mile every day depending on what was for lunch, (school lunches) and I'm doing more as I speak. In fact, I shaved off my mile time by 20 seconds two days ago.

IL-2/FB is what I do since I can't exercise as much as I used to/ like to. Two kids under 3 means my twice a week surf sessions have been replaced by post-bedtime aerial battles.

Soon though...it's menehune division surf meets for Lily and Angus !
