What a fantastic idea this was!!!

I really can't say enough about 'ghosting'!!

It lets you see EXACTLY where you can pick up time on tracks, and (suprisingly) shows how sometimes it pays to take big air rather than stick to the ground.

I didn't think I could better my scores on trials FE, but on SE i'm doing it almost daily!

Unfortunately (fortunately??) I think once all the better drivers start using it too, my times are gonna be blown out of the water pretty quickly!!! heh! http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif

I love the ghost also. Lets you optimize your times much better and learn new stuff from the pros.

Totally agree. I've been using it a lot and it is the closest thing to true MP (which would be great btw!). Without ghosts you just wouldn't know where you can still make improvements.

It's one of the best additions!

Ghosts add so much to gameplay, agreed 100% A funny thing is ghosts on dynamic tracks. Sometimes they go through stuff and sometimes they drive on something that's not there! lol It may look silly at times but they do their job http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

Another thing I've noticed with the ghost mode, is that on most of the easy tracks and some fast medium levels, the outcome of your ride is pretty much decided within the first few seconds of the start.

Getting over that first obstacle quicker than anyone else makes a massive difference later in the level.
