I was wondering if the rockettubes which the p47s use in game configuration along with rocket tree which carried 4x4.5" rockets will be added to the mustang b c d.

These were used widely in the med eto and NA. If you consider this let me know thru pt and i will give you more detailed info about them.

Im also looking forward to the a-36 apache/ divebomber, 4 cannon, and 6 .50 cal version with 6 hvar rails along with divebrakes http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif over 600 of them served italy and north africa. Same cockpit as the p51a b with the addition of the dive flap assembly located left wall behind the trottle.

I would also like to see you fix the us bombs on the p51 p38 and p47 to be dropped individually, the p47 bomb positions are still wrong the centerline rack has never been able to carry a 1000lb bomb but 500 max. The wing mounts held 250 500 and 1000 lb on the p47.

example of lever in p51d which shows individual bomb release mechanism. The p38 and p47 has the same. 2 1000lb falling in the same spot =s 1 1000lb explosion.

Heres a photo of the lever

This is a good start. I'll do some copying of the photos I have.

What would be handy is pictures of B/D models armed as such. So far you have a A-36 which is a tad bit different. Nonetheless, you are right...they were rocket armed and we should try and get them rocket armed.

WHOA that A36 looks great http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.

What was it like as a fighter with the extra weight ?

Mustang IA/Apache

The Mustang IA differed from earlier versions in having the machine guns replaced by four 20-mm wing-mounted Hispano cannon, with most of the long barrels protruding well ahead of the wing. The British recieved 150 Mustang IA fitted with the cannon varient. Throughout 1941, the Army referred to these aircraft under the name Apache, but this was changed to Mustang at about the time the deliveries began in mid- 1942.

This factory-fresh NA-91 displays protruding barrels
of the four 20mm hispano cannon which were typical for this variant.
