My advice to the makers of this sim is:
1.Make it open architecture, so it is easy for modders to add planes and panels.
2.Have the panels clickable and working.
3. Go for a simulator feel, not a "game", in the style of CFS2, but not CFS3. This means we can navigate through instruments and good maps and GPS.
4. Keep as far as you can from the wideangle look of CFS3 and from the high demands on the system of IL-2--many users do not have powerful systems.

5.Do not be afraid to bring in carriers, ships, and many lesser-known aircraft.
6. Make a good and easy to use Mission Builder.

1. NO!!! Do NOT make this game open architeture! Besides, since it's based on the IL2:FB engine, it won't be (I hope!!!).

2. Panels do work... Clickable isn't too big of a deal.

3. I am POSITIVE that this sim will be of no lesser quality than FB - so there's no problem there.

4. IL-2 isn't a high demanding game - depends on what settings you run! I've heard of someone running it on a P3 450MHz.

5. Um... This is a Pacific sim. Of course it'll have carriers.

6. I'm sure they'll do their best on the mission builder. Besides - if not, UberDaemon will just make a better UQMG. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
