heres one i use, pretty simple but....
radiator open
flaps down
tail wheel locked
prop pitch 100%
throttle 0%
start engine

to this I would add to make sure all the bombsite controls are active and - if I am torpedoing today, I always raise the bombsite view to full forward and centered... then all you do is switch to bombsite view once you have aquired the target vessel - lead the boat slightly and pickle the torp at about 200-300m
its good fun.

as far as the Russian birds go, so far I am only flying the Mig3 variants...still trying to master all of those.

Hint: With the Russian torpedo bomber (IL-2T), the first thing you need to have on your checklist is: Load Torpedo.
