View Full Version : AEP/Where's my Prop Pitch?

First a complete and through uninsatll of FB V 1.22. After that I cleaned out the hard drive of bots/spys, ran a virus scan, checked that all drivers were updated (and they were) and defragged the HD. Then did a clean install of Fb, re-booted, installed AEP. Went into 'Controls' and reconfigured keybinds to taste, re-calibrated the 'Input' then went to a QMB to fly the P-38. (SWEEEET!) But, no prop pitch! It's assigned to Rotary 1 on my X-45. Rotray 2 is assigned to elevator trim and it works fine. I jumped back into QMB and picked the ol' standby, Bf-109G-6 which I know has prop pitch and again, no go! double checked my calibration and it seems fine.

What's up? Any X-45'ers that have had the same trouble?

Mine works fine.. you might just have to checkthe profile. When you first installed the X45 did you use the default settings for pitch or did yoiu have to edit them.

Did the new install turn off CEM in your difficulty menu?

Often the changes people notice may be nothing but changes the installer made to the conf.ini, not to the game itself...

I do that all the time, jump into the game to test something someone on the forums has mentioned in certain difficulty settings. Next time I go back to the game I wonder why the supercharger wont change speed or prop wont work coz I forgot to turn CEM back on http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

plumps/Tully;

Thank you gentlemen. You were correct. that also explain why I couldn't feather a damaged engine on my P-38....Separate Engine Start was off too.
Must be a default setting for "new" flyers.

Bearcat;

Although I did check my X-45 profile, thanks for the reminder. All to often I overlook the obvious or what's right in front of me.

Thanks again gents. S!
