ok i have had a COUGAR for a year and I am still not using it as I left it in another country. but this cant go on any longer. i am flying over there to get it.

but i am having problems with finding the thrustmaster pedals. I live in holland by the way.

so ... question is - are there any other pedals you can recommend ? i know they dont have to be connected to the cougar - i could use any USB pedals but i dont want any junk !

so if you could recommend pedals to go with the COUGAR ... i would find that very helpful.

and it would not be of harm if they were cheaper then thrustmasters 150$ pedals (a little bit too much for FOOTPEDALS) http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/crazy.gif

thanks in advance - Johann_Thor

I use the CH Pro pedals and like them very much. You can also check out the Simped pedals. many say they are currently the best.

I just buy a cougar a month ago, with ch pro pedals.
Make sure that u buy pedals with gameport ,not USB.
Simped pedals are better,CH pro pedals don't have toobrakes on the cougar.

CH Pro Pedals have the toe brakes in my USB version. If you have the USB port to spare, it isn't necessary to plug into the Cougar for CH pedals to work in the game.

cheers

cool ! i think i am all for toebrakes - reminds me of the pedals of the glider i took my lessons on http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

yes horseback........i thought so - no need to plug it into the cougar - thx. are there any cougar features i cant utilize if i dont connect them into the cougar gameport ? - i would think not.

still this is F$%^&N expensive - i paid 370 $ for the cougar. my friends think i am nuts spending 500$ on a JOYSTICK.

I would go with the Simpeds or the CH pedals. I have CH. At the time I got them money was tight and the simpeds were out of reach..but the prices on simpeds have gone down. The simpeds are better in the sense that they dont use traditional pots so they should last longer. I have no idea about the feel of them. I think they are now @ $25 more than the CH pedals. Definitely worth considering. The CH pedals are good too though and you can get them for under $100.
