This was a post made by Oleg in response to a thread in the RR on May 26th.

Baby is almost Ok... and will be Ok. I just don't sleep... My wife sleep too well and sometime don't hear his cry... Then I go and sit with him to speak That helps him, but not me....

I myself very tired. Work plus little new born take all my time.
I rad all emails and try to read forums. But unfortunatelly not so often than in the past. Simply as more we make - more time I need to spend for the work... Our tem still not growing (just 3 people come to us to work). Its a bit problem to find good developer that can work in our team. Should be high level 3D or programming, know aviation and technics that he makes, etc.... From more than 20 pretenders for the job in our team we selected just 3 for the last 8 months... Probaly two more will come soon, but they are still green and will make not the main things.

Don't ask me the questions here... I have no time.
I just read il2beta email to get last bugs for final program patch for AEP.

today should be released update for dedicated server v.1.22 that will make it 2.01.

We found about 20 minor bugs (that we really consider as bugs) with the help of users that sent us good detailed reports to beta address, that still not eleminated from the whole product.
You should wait for a patch that will fix them for about 3 weeks. My main programmer take vacation. He was so very tired... He was not in real vacation for several years. So he took two weeks.

For some reason I am just seeing this today but it explains a lot. It isnt like 1C has this cadre of well paid programmers waiting in line to respond to our every need. Wow.. in light of this post and the dedication shown to this community inspite of the manpower shortage at 1C and this communities..... sall we say.... unique approach to the problems in the sim... I think we all need to sit back..... and just enjoy the sim for a while before we go nuts with the crying and groaning about what we find in 2.04.

Thanks for a great patch... I know the bugs we find will be addressed but in spite of them it is still a great product and I get so much fi=un out of this thing I sometimes feel guilty. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

What Oleg expresses in his work amazes me. With all the limitations that he and his team have to suffer he still manages to deliver the goods.

Top bloke!

well, I usually am silent about the enjoyment (correct?) I have from years (yes, years) playing almost exclusively IL2, IL2 FB, AHP.
Reading this topic, how can I say it, I simply need to express my gratitude to the Maddox team for their absolutely great simulator and for all the effort given in keeping it always at top level. Really a thank you. Really.
