S!

Unfortunatly I doubt what you just listed will come to be in IL2 FB/AEP. Some of it is just too much to do with PF and BoB being developed and some just can't be done due to game engine limitations. I agree with a lot on your list, probably everything, and I would add to it individual dive accelerations/zoom climbs as well and possibly some reworked FM's. Thanks for taking your time to voice your request but I think its falling on deaf ears http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif. Many things on your list have been asked before but have been shot down (no pun intended).

S! Good luck with your list, I hope some can be implimented into IL2 http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Look down into cockpit seat to see the mini~map instead of seeing it pasted to the Sky, and also, a watch abstractly pasted to cockpit seat or something, for planes with no clocks because all pilots carried a watch.

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

Well sonny, take yer own advice.

Maybe realize "wat you want in FB" just ain't possible with available desktop hardware.

You B!+@# at Oleg, show no respect, no consideration, no pre-thought.
Just dreams, wishes with no care for reality.

Why do you think I don't like real?
I wrote aps and database for commercial pilot training back in 87-88.
I went to the $10,000 each training courses with men who flew senators and very rich men around.
The savings on insurance more than paid for the courses for them and I was working for a vendor
making products for the company that gives the courses.

Guess what? I got to fly the full motion sim boxes. You want real? The sims I flew then moved.
The men who flew the real planes will tell you, the feel and actions are same as real.

So I not only like a sim that's real but I have flown them for 3 commercial jets.

How about you? What were you doing in 1987?

I had some thoughts on this before.. to make a WW2 sim so real that it would work as a training tool for real fighterpilots. Assuming there were pilots and airforces who still fought ww2-style. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Of course, alot of things needed for that is already in FB, but alas.. alot of things missing too I guess. These kind of discussions has much to do with the pre-thoughts behind a simulation. It´s original concepts. Maybe that´s too uncomfortable to discuss?

Just look at most replys here when someone asks for advice on flying and fighting. It´s just real world dry and hardcore tactics that´s suggested. Then we "help" the sim with our imagination and immersion, but what about making the sim as dry and hardcore from a start and thus helping us http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif? It always comes down to more detail = less planes = more focus. For some of us that would be the only obvious thing to do. Why would anyone be into flightsims if it weren´t for coming as close to the real deal as possible? And that is... with our computers and imagination working under the same physical laws as the pilots did in the skys of (in this case) 1939-45.

to go from real to novice

so its good for everybody

i like real too
