When setting up the bombsight for a bombing run, the manual states that you must use TAS for the sight-velocity.

How does this differ to the indicated speed (air-speed indicator and speedbar) and how do I calculate it?

Have a look at your second CD. Theres a TAS2IAS-chart somewhere on it in pdf format. No need to calculate it.

:-)

I include a copy of the IAS/TAS chart in the manual as well.

Downloaded WWSensei's guide about a month back and my bombing learned some very usefull tips, got my bombing down very precise.

"Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary force:
You are about to embark upon a Great Crusade toward which we have strived these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you. Good Luck! And let us all beseech the blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking" - Gen. Dwight D. Eiseinhower-Supreme Allied Commander.
