It has to be an intergrated one, definately, as my friend who tried to play FarCry with his Intel card had exactly the same problem. It's really smooth inside the sewers, but outside especially near the cliff on your right the water is messed up colours.

System Specs:
1.5 ghz AMD Athlon XP
256 SD RAM 133mhz
ATI Radeon 9600 XT 256 DDR Core: 500mhz Memory:300mhz DDR=600mhz
MSI MS-6382
3DMark03 Score = 3366

You can see what video card you have by looking under display adapters in Device Manager. What OS do you have?

Until we know what video card you have, we can't help much.

I see. On board graphics, isn't it?

uh, lets see I'm not sure what board graphics are, it doenst say anything else under device manager about board graphics, but when I right click on the driver name under device manager, it asks if I want to update the driver. Could this solve the problem by updating? If not, how do I find out if I have board graphics or not?

That is definetely onboard video. You need a new video card man. FarCry requires a fast video card especially since it's the most demanding game out there.

Your other specs are fine, you need to buy another video card! If you need recommendations, just post how much you're willing to pay for a new card and we'll give you suggestions.

well since I can't take the game back to Target, where can I buy the cheapest video card to get it to work. I am willing to pay about 50 dollars I guess. No more. Where can I get a new video card? Best Buy is near my house, will they have one? Also, how do I install one?

What you can get for 50 bucks may not be any better than what you got right now.
