Is it me, or does the P-38 compass still not work?

Mine seems to constantly point at 270. Makes it very hard to navigate on some maps.

No, you are absolutely right. Compass on P-38 does not work.

Seems waaaaaaay too difficult to fix it (hmm).

I'm not sure how to officially notify Oleg about this. Any suggestions?

Compass and 'Repeater Compass' (Radio Direction Finder) on P38J and P38L over QMB maps Smolensk, Moscow and Islands8 worked fine for me just now; FB/AEP 2.01

Unless you are saying the needles are reversed, I do not know historically which needle provided which function (however they both operate for me).

zg77, look at the water compass. the 1 that should move to say, 180 if heading south. this is the 1 we're talking about. on both models, this compass doesnt work. it's stuck on a heading of 220. maybe ivan could advise oleg on it. probably was overlooked somehow, but its essential to be able to navigate properly and u need a compass like that

Apologies, I fly at a fairly low resolution, and have grown out of the habit of viewing the 'wet' compass, I see you are correct. I'm sure you also know that the email to report bugs is il2beta@1c.ru Hopefully this was already sent in, and corrected; this report may be a bit late for the upcoming patch.
