Observed this happing a few nights back in a dog-fight server , my self and another team member were both on a 190 a's tail in a dive when all of a sudden he went into hyper drive some how ie: pulled up into a climb and before you no it he's up to 4500 meters in under a second , im 100 % sure it wasen't lag for one the sever was running fine right up till i quit there was little AAA on the map and there was no one pinging high , but as soon as i mentioned it in the room if anyone had seen it the team member on my wing said he saw the same , right after that the guy flying the 190 quit the server , any comments or if you have seen the same please post reply.

If the other player's connection dropped out, that is one of the thing's you're likely to see.

Thanks for the reply tully ,

Iv'e been flying this sim' since the old il2' days online, iv'e seen guys drop out of severs and lag' is lag' no two ways about it! but i ain't seen nothing like this , in fact i'm sure i seen it twice in the same session but on the second occasian it stuck out like dogs balls , it seemed real suspect after i had posted the text in the room to all' "did u see that" that the guy in the 190' quit the server .

Thanks and regards .

Bart.

My experience is the rocket warp is time-out, If they intentionally quit then the plane just dissapears instantly without warping (like a respawn). If the time-out is not long enough to be kicked from server then they will warp back to their correct position when connection is reestablished. To do this intentioanally to avoid being shot is not viable as way more often then not when you reconnect you are expoded in the ground.
