Just wondering what/who you guys think Erudito is and whether or not we're going to see this plot point picked up on in future AC games. PS: darn shame I knew nothing about Erudito's existence even though I've played thru all of the AC games. This whole DLC concept is such a sham.

I've always thought Erudito started way back in ACI as one 'madman' emailing Abstergo and growing from there. But as far as I know they've been around a long while as part of the social network lore around AC as well as having a big part in Liberation and Project Legacy. Since he/she/they are also mentioned a fair bit in the multiplayer stories and the encyclopaedia, I can also see them playing a huge part in the future games or any that add to te AC World. (Part of me is still hoping Watchdogs takes the mantle of modern day story while the AC takes the historical).

It's Consus, calling it now. With the way they showed you can upload yourself into a computer like 16 and Juno did and then also go back to an organic vessel (16 thought of that for a moment & Juno said she will do that in the future) AND not to mention Sage's reincarnation thingy... I think it's safe to assume Erudito has something to do with Consus, the "Erudite god" who uploaded himself to Giovanni Borgia in the Pythagorean Vault.

Actually Eruditio is a group of people.. full name of the group is Erudito Collective.

Here's more info on them: http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Erudito

So, maybe...
Consus or some version of him is the leader. Or maybe they group consists of people with Consus' memories and personality, similarly how Sages work.

Possibly, over time as future AC games we'll hopefully know more. :)

I just hope that they don't ruin Erudito in a new game. It would be ridiculous if they follow the ''Hacker Stereotype'' with a fat guy eating hamburguers, watching porn while hacking everything or a nerd japanese guy.

If Erudito is Consus, it would be epic...he kidnaps the main characters and when he asks to Erudito '' Who are you ?'', the hackers says '' I'm Consus...the Erudite God!''. I just hope that Ubi treat this character well....if they kick him of out of the story just like they did with Lucy, Subject 16 and Daniel Cross in a stupid way...

i actually thought Erudito was a collective group of Abstergo engineers who digressed from the Templars with their own set of ideals ? ( For the Greater good ) ?

For goodness sake I don't even know who Consus is.. I've played every AC, and I'm currently going thru second playthroughs right now. It's really disappointing Ubisoft leaves all of this stuff out there just floating around in DLC's. If something is essential or even relevant to the overall story-arc, it should be included in the main copy of the game.

I believe Consus was a Roman God of some sort ! strangely enough represented by a grain seed ? i am yet to discover how this ties in with the AC universe .

actually, be more annoyed with all the other media this AC franchise appears in. as far as i'm concerned, if it was in a game(or even a DLC), it's canon, and other media really isnt or should be. for example, i feel strongly that Haytham Kenways life would/should have enough action and twists & turns to fill out a whole game...however, if you goto the wiki pages, you'll see his whole life written about, including stuff that should be in a game.

Even though I think AC4's ending was well written and heart-warming, a part of me thinks that it would have been better to actually show Edward's death and Haythem's "kidnapping" if you will, just for the sake of clarity. Here I am, just having finished AC4, and now I have to scavenge the AC wiki to learn the actual conclusion to Edward's story.. a little disappointing. Can we just go back to the days where everything essential to a character's life story is at least touched upon within the video game?
