LOL, yeah they call that the Flying Dutchman bug, it's been a common prob for some time, but on my Steam Gold Ed I've never encountered it after two whole play throughs and well over 100 hrs logged.

It's an appropriate nickname, because it kinda lends well to both aspects of the Dutchman in Pirates of the Caribbean, underwater, and flying. LOL

i thought the the Flying Dutchman is about the ship hole in the sea where you jump in and fall from the sky on the ground, is it also for flying crew?

I'm referring to the Flying Dutchman in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean, like I said. It travels underwater and is called "Flying" Dutchman. What is there not to get?

Geez...too much television!

The Flying Dutchman is an old ghost story told about a ghostly, sometimes flying ship. You just think Disney invented the term...

LOL, I'm well aware of that, just saying the Disney re-imagining fits the bug in the game even better because their Flying Dutchman also travels underwater, and the bug involves a big hole in the ocean. And the Disney version is film not television based, It only came out on TV sometime after.

Who gives two craps about the original Flying Dutchman story. That and the game and the movie I referred to are all pieces of fiction, and the bug at best has a very loose correlation to either of them.
