Can we get big splashes from bombs and large caliber guns in PF? Most sims have really under-modeled this.

I'm not a mod - nor do I play one on TV but..

I kinda doubt this feature will change much from FB.. If you want to know how 'splashes' will look in PF go drop some bombs in the channel on the Normandy map in FB .. or dive your plane into the drink and watch the playback.

Thats probably how they will look in PF.

If we can drop depth charges on submarines that would be Awsum to see...and it would apply to FB Atlantic and FB The Meds too.

And if AI destroyers could depth charge submerged subs too, but that would probably take a New Sim coded from beginning to have that feature.

don't get me wrong - I would like to see big splashes like that in PF or future FB projects/theaters of operation.. only place I see splashes like that currently is in the loo.

But the 'Splashes' at the moment just seem a bit pathetic IMO,they are more or less the same size wheater your going in at 120 km/h,or even 700 km/h http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/51.gif

Hmm, I have noticed that now, when aircraft hit the water in AEP, they explode most of the time.

I think what would be cool if when aircraft hit the water, they break up and certain parts could 'skip' along the water.

I have seen a couple of old B&W videos of aircraft going into the sea and they all break up and fall to peices.

Would be a nice feature especially because of the huge amount of water in this new add on patch

Frame rate issues may prevent 'real' type explosions like the one initially posted. I would like to see real wakes to make ship identification realistic from 10,000 feet! I've seen pictures where the wake of ship is like a half mile long behind the ship.

Talking of ships,they always sink in the same boring way,add some capsising to PF and the front or back of the ship sink so the opposite end is out the water.
