Gamespot just posted a video preview for the DLC. It looks good, and it has new animations and mechanics. Didn't expect that to be honest. The machete and blunderbuss look awesome and brutal.

Yeah especially the captain's quarters (at 1:32) which looks awful. What's up with those textures and colors?

Looks like more of the same pretty much, which is fine by me. Only thing that confuses me is why the slaves are wearing fake beards . Check out the beard at 2:10.

What I'm trying to figure out is, Is Edward dead 15 years after Black Flag?

One would think that when you are stripped to your underpants, wearing an MS-paint beard is not much of a disguise

What I'm trying to figure out is, Is Edward dead 15 years after Black Flag?

After some research: If I understand correctly AC4 ended 1722 and Ed died 1735, so he should be. That's a good point, it will likely be mentioned in some way.

I'm not so sure those are supposed to be FAKE beards, which makes it even worse . Why would bare chested slaves that are being held captive wear disguises? It doesn't make any sense.

I think he meant the blowpipe and how a lot of people dislike it's location when it's on Edward. Looks good on Adewale just as it looks good on Edward if you're wearing his default robes or anything like it. I admit it does look a bit weird on the "Duncan" color swapped robes.

Finally we can kill some french soldiers! :-) (no offense) It was advertised that the french soldiers are in the game but not! At least they put it in a Dlc! One thing the machete have some of the recycled ac3 animations! Why?

I'm ready for this. Adewale was poorly underused in the main game, but we knew he was going to get his own DLC much in advance anyways. The Blunderbuss looks awesome and a machete is a welcome addition to the melee arsenal for Assassin's Creed.

Hey, look, the machete has got a pretty proper sheath! This is what means one type of sword only. (I mean, sure, it's pretty much a leather strap on the back akin to how Altair's short blade was holstered, but, hey, machetes don't really have full-sized leather sheathes as far as I know anyway)

Now I know why the stats on PS4 say 0.1% of people liberated 10 slaves :p
