I got a new Xbox 360. I downloaded my profile to the new XBOX. I went to the Rocksmith shop and downloaded all of the DLC that I already own. I tried to play RS 2014 last night, but none of my DLC was in the game. I exited the game and looked in the hard drive, and all of my DLC is there. What did I do wrong, and how do I get the songs into the game?

That's weird. Did you install the game to the console?

Yes, I installed Rocksmith and Rocksmith 2014 to the console. When I did it on my old XBOX, all of the DLC transferred in one click. This time, I had to get each pack or song individually.

So you did end up getting the DLC?

Did you buy the On Demand Digital Download of Rocksmith 2014?

A note about the RS2014 download on XBL. If you DL it now you may need to wait a day or 2 for the DLC compat to work following the 360 patch (https://twitter.com/squirrellyninja/status/409091472420384768)

He posted that on the 6th, 3 days after the patch went live... Is he talking about another impending patch, or the one we got 3 days before he says people would need to wait a day or two? Or do people individually have to wait a day or two after installing the patch in the wake of downloading the software?

Some actual damn patch release notes would be appreciated. It's pretty *****ish to not tell us.

It was a physical disc. All of the songs and packs are on the hard drive within Rocksmith 2014, but they don't show up in the game.

Where did you redownload them from? Maybe try deleting a pack and downloading it via the RS2014 shop... This is a weird one.

I do not have an always-on internet connection. I connected to the internet, and I was able to play the DLC. I did not have time to test this, but please tell me that I do not have to be online to play these songs.

Nope you don't have to be online to play them.

You will have to be online to download them.

Thanks RCOLE.

It may have been that it needed to connect to the internet the first time after downloading them and playing RS2014... So, it should probably work across the board now, even when not connected.
