I'm sure not everyone has a problem with the UI in these games, and the option to turn portions or all of it off is nice, but my biggest problem with it, as of recent, is how large and in the way it is. Assassin's Creed 4 handles it a bit better than Assassin's Creed 3(or Far Cry 3) but I'd be nice if it was a bit more accommodating to those playing in 1080p. It's a bigger issue on PC and next gen systems. It's just really big and not far enough to the side. There's so much room on the screen to push it aside too. The game is beautiful and I'd love to see more of it without having to turn the UI completely off. Just my two cents....

The AC4 GUI & HUD are reminiscent of the Revelations GUI & HUD. Just something I noticed. :)

Other than those two changes to the HUD in the AC games, the HUD has roughly been the same in all games no real huge changes.
