Good show so far. Lots of good footage.

If you missed it, it will be on again at mid-night EST.

its was an ok program i didnt get as much info out of it then i thought i would, i didnt really get the sence of what kind of fighter it was, it said it was excelltent in a dive, rolled really well. but nothing really on turn performance, maybe because it wasnt that great?. it was only really compaired to the zero which as we all know is a turn fighter. im guessing that you might be able to compair the corsair with the FW190?

also they didnt talk about the different versions they just kept on using the term "Corsair" in a very general sence.

what i found to be very interesting was that the corair, initally wasnt a great carrier based plane. it wasnt untill the Brits perfected the use of corairs on carriers, that the US gave the bent-winged-bird another go at the carrier.

but i did like it better then the "Heavy Metal's- Spitfire" program, which only talked about the mkI and the battle of britan http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-mad.gif
no talk about the mkIX mkXIV or even the mkV. although all the renacted footage was done with a mkV http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.

im watching the B-52 program now, thats not too bad either.

Interesting comment made by one of the pilots about the Zero: the Zero could only turn well to the left at high speed, so, if a Zero was on your six, you'd turn hard to the right, the Zero would go right on by you, and then you'd snap back and be on his six...try doing that with a Zero at high speed in IL2 FB AEP--he'll still be on your six.
