Hi Everybody!

We all know what lags are and they often appear to torpedize fun in online games, because the guy you are about to shoot down warps out of your crosshair.

Here are some nice screenshots showing some lag-effects:

IL-2 in FB is realy capable of doing stunning flight maneuvers

Here I have spotted the Roadrunner /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

After I shot down this plane, it suddenly remembered that shot-down planes travel earthwards

I tried to get in shooting position behind that red 109, but he surprised me with a UFO-Maneuver

This one is my favourite: the new, improved FM allows very tight turns for new La-7 /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

There is also another type of problem: Freezes.

You are closing in on an enemy fighter, and yet just as you aproach it to shooting distance, your screen freezes for 2-4 seconds, and when it continues to go on, you have already passed the target.

I think those "FREEZES" are a problem in programming code, because FB forgets to load the high-detail 3D-Models of the planes, and it just remembers to load them in the second the 3D-engine is forced to show them, which then results in a loading-freeze.

I think it would be not a big problem to make the FB engine load all high-detail 3D-Models of all aircraft in the mission right at the start.

I know that there will be new, improved net-code to avoid lags with the upcoming FB patch, so these are hopefully a problem of the past.

However, please take a look at the 3D-Model-loading-freezes, which are very frustrating.

I agree with u realmatrix its wery frustrating and always happens when you are going to shot your enemy in pieses from
zero distance and your monitor freezes for a couple of seconds and u realised u crashed.
