youre talking about these small, very fast ones that can fly and are made of metal?

anyway, interesting diving(?) brake. reminds me on some other strange brakes like the one of the Do 217. it was like a little parachute fitted to the tail.

perhaps to slow it down to bomber speed?

Yes, that was the idea, but it was found not to be very effective.

I'd never join a club that would have ME as a member!!.
