Because the Germans at that time were the most advance country of the world and i can not belive that there airplans did not have mirros for "6".or that Fb cant not support the mirros of the Germas Airplans.

nope, there werent any mirrors officially but many planes had do-it-yourself-mirrors.

Zuerst war ich unsicher, ich hatte nicht viel Erfahrung damit. Aber heute bereue ich nichts. Meine Freunde taten es schon lange. Ich wollte auch mitmachen, aber mir war unwohl dabei. Ich hatte Angst davor. Irgendwann war dann doch meine Neugier zu groß und ich wollte es auch unbedingt ausprobieren. Alles war so fremd. Heute blicke ich zurück und es war die beste Entscheidung meines Lebens. Es geht nichts über einen Würger und 2000PS unterm Hintern! -Hpt. von Stranzki, Fw190 Pilot, Kampfpilot des StS! Horrido!

Lots of pilots (both allies and axis) are DIY. I remenber i saw 1 109 have a mirror on top of the cockpit.

Mirrors are FPS killers anyway.

Many pilots reported that mirrors are vibrating, offers a bad, and limited view to the rear- very often the plane that you see in your rearviewmirror is the last thing before you shot down or been killed... Oleg says that this is all wrong, and the sight to the back is clear like critall.. come and tell this my motorbike!! lol

Some 109E had field mod rear mirror, but this was soon discontinued, largely for the reasons Abuzze mentioned. Rear mirrors offered only a limited field of view, a good canopy design like the FW190`s or the Erla canopy on late Messers was a better solution. Rear mirrors also createe turbulance and drag.

Oh yes, some He 111s that were used for towing the huge Gigant glider had mirrors for checking the cables etc.
