I suggest you read some information about Boom'n Zoom tactics, for example at Tailspin's Tales (http://mywebpages.comcast.net/Tailspin/index.htm).

Keep at it! This is a great a/c, especially the G's. They climb in a hurry, accelerate and dive reasonably well. They're happier in the air than on the ground...or taking off and landing. But once mastered, they're pure fun. So keep practicing.

BTW, if you like to read, there are several good books by or about LW 109 aces (Lipfert, Hartmann, Rall) and campaigns (Russia, No. Africa, etc.). Check 'em out. It makes flying the plane even better.

Why just the Elevator Trim? Is it so you can perform unrealistic bat turns to compensate for a lack of good tactical skills?
