Yes, ladies and germs... I will be heading down to Abbotsford for my first ever parachute jump. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

If you don't see any posts from me after that date - it's probably because I'm dead. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Ouch.... Yeah, I remember the crunching noise those legs made if you didn't flare properly.

*shudder*

At least I won't be having you guys buzzing around and shooting pilots in their chutes /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

No, if it's in Abbotsford, it'll be WestJet pilots buzzing you.

I don't think you need to worry...
I did about 30 jumps this summer and I'm still alive.
Oh! By the way this is my first post on this forum...so... Hi all!

I hear it's as easy as falling off a log.
I'm not sure if I'd be up for it though!

Well, well, well... I'm still alive

... Even though the day started crappy, it turned out amazing.... since the weather was overcast when I was scheduled to jump, I had to wait... After 5 hrs, the skies luckily cleared and we climbed up to 10,000ft. It was definitely worth the wait, we jumped above whatever clouds were left, and when the parachute opened we ended up right in one of them. Absolutely astonishing.

I would tell you more, but the feeling is... beyond words. All I can say is... I'm totally hooked now.

Here's the plane they took us in:
