Can't see how they'd be fun to fly against fixed wing high performance a/c. the piston engined fighter reached it's apex, while the helo still was in it's infancy.

Geeze. Some people...

OK, who cares about helicopters just being new and stuff? I think it would be fun, seeing them zoom around, seeing what they'd do in emergency situations, making them land here and there, buzz around...

Yet some people only want ultra-realism and stuff like that... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

As AI, maybe, but I don't think pilotable ones would be much fun.

I`d only have them as a non-flyable in Campaign missions. Perhaps as taxiing craft and probably rarely seen. I think one ferried itself about Berlin in the last months before it ran out of friendly airspace.

Oh, btw, they weren`t anything like the Lynx, Apache, cobra, so you can forget whizzing around in them. It`d probably take 10 times as long to learn as ordinary FB craft if they were flyable, just to be shot down.

I'd also like to see them as AI only, as they would be oine more thing to shoot . . . that doesn't move around . . . you know, like the barrage balloons. I don't expect to see them, though, and really wouldn't miss them if they never show up.

What a way to rescue downed pilots behind the lines. Would sure beat that long walk back to the squadron.
