I recently bought AC I & II Ultimate Collection. I wanted to use my wireless xbox 360 controller for Windows. When I go to the controls to choose the xbox controller, it is not there. I know that my controller works with Win 8, because I used it with Tomb Raider. Is it possible to use the controller in this game? Please help me. I read somewhere that I could download Xpadder, but I want to try the forum first.

You have to have it on before launching the game via uplay in order for the game to recognise it.
Best have it on before launching even uplay (though works fine with Rayman Legends after launching the game)

It was on, but it still didn't work. I found this solution ... http://www.overclock.net/t/1303581/guide-how-to-play-assassins-creed-1-2-wiith-a-wireless-360-controller-mapped-correctly-works-with-some-other-ubi-games-too

I am now able to use my controller:D

instead of all that trouble of mapping the controls.

Just buy this compatiable 360 Controller for Windows, there is a USB wire attached by honestly when you play the game you don't notice the wire trust me I have one works great with all AC PC games and all PC games in general! The drivers are included. :)
