I thought it was a great video and showed some new Kingston footage.

Then again I just love anything with the actual people working on the game in it.

Yea, there was a glimpse of a plantation raiding cutscene, and some new Kingston footage (without the UI though).

Now I know what they mean about different feels of different cities, Havana feels like AC2, Kingston feels like AC3 and Nassau feels like AC4.

that's what I've been thinking for a while.

And hey, maybe Nassau will feel like AC1, eh? I mean, it has a castle-fort thing in it, it sort of reminds me of the way Masyaf feels.

Nassau- AC1
Havana- AC2
Kingston- AC3
Caribbean Sea- AC4

I havent seen Nassau yet but heard it was some kind of Pirate Haven so i just went with AC4 for that but It might feel like AC1, depends how "Forty" it Looks. Looking at Havana took me back to AC2, seeing Kingston in that clip instantly took me back to Boston and we will see where i get taken back to when i see Nassau.

Well, on the beach (which I assume to be it's port), there are a bunch of tents set up which reminds me of the tents set up outside cities in AC1, and then there's the fort that overlooks the tents that gives me a Masyaf castle feel. According to the concept art, there's a wooden church at the other end of the city which reminds me of both the church in Acre and the churches from AC3. There's also a lot of palm trees, which will make the city feel different from AC1 cities, so it won't feel exactly like AC1 of course. But I doubt Havana and Kingston will feel exactly like AC2 and AC3 as well.

For AC4's sake I hope it feels a bit like AC1.

I think it will. One of my first impressions when I saw the first screenshots was how much it looks/feels like AC - long before I saw the demos.

Kingston looks great, although I'm not exactly sure why they didn't show any of Nassau. That must be the city that they think is really awesome.

The concept art of Nassau for anyone wondering about it. I can agree with the assessment that each city seems to give the vibe of previous AC games each.

The fort is clearly the Old Fort of Nassau which doesn't exist anymore (though ruins of it are apparently in the site of the British Colonial Hilton hotel)

"The fort had been built of stone in the shape of a 4-pointed star with its two high walled ends projecting northward into the harbour. The fort guarded the western end of the port. However, the reasons for the repeated damages suffered by the fort were attributed to its strategically poor location on a hill premonitory which could be easily attacked from the higher hills to its south from where it was subjected to frequent and effective bombardments even with smaller sized guns."

Kingston looks like Concord/Lexington, kinda meh if you ask me.

I am wondering about Nassau, very intrigued about it.

Actually, I think Nassau will feel more like AC1/AC4 combined. I say this because of the fact that the devs are pushing the idea of the game feeling like AC1, plus, we can't forget that promotional material that shows Edward in the AC1 stance. Nassau does actually sound like the pirate version of Masyaf as well. It has a castle fort, it's the home of the pirate democracy, but it also probably have it's normal citizens as well, like Masyaf. The only thing is, unlike Masyaf, it is said that Nassau is chaotic, while Masyaf had this strict order and structure feeling.

Nassau will probably be the trademark city of AC4 once it comes out. I have a feeling it'll be my favorite one as well.

Why are there some praising Kingston? Didn't you hate Boston and New York?

I did like NY, however Kingston seems like a village and not a city. It has more in common wiith Concord and lexington than with Boston, cool looking may be due to the its caribbean location, but not very funny to explore; widespread and undeveloped....

I like the idea of intentionally raising your notoriety to have bigger ships with loads more booty chase after you. This marks the second time in the series that I'll be willing to raise my notoriety; the first was Revelations so I could play Den Defense. I know, I know. Den Defense apologist, here.

Lol. That's my pattern. Join in on the conversations a month before release, and disappear a month or two after release. It's pretty hard to keep up with the forums outside of the holiday season, no?
