One thing I like about Janes WWII Fighters was that the pilot would grunt and groan when pulling hard on the flightstick. IIRC, one would also hear him breathing hard at times as well. I think something like this would be great to add to FB.

What do you think?

Yep, like that idea. Haven't flown WWII Fighters for ages, forgot it had that.

Sounds a bit scary actually.
I'm sure I'm quite capable of making my own grunting and groaning noises if the situation calls for it.
(No disrespect to any genuine mutes out there of course /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif )

I've no idea what kind of sounds I make as I use headphones and have them turned up LOUD when I play

yeah would be cool and have the heavy breathing before blackouts and high G's.

FB has the most boring sound I have to admit, we need a radio that can play mp3s so we can add in radio commands as macros and tune in music if we want like duke ellington on the long missions

I think that breathing with gas mask will be cool, but with the time it will remind me Darth Vader.

And that's bad how? With the Force on your side, failure would be impossible.../i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Seriously though, I think more ambient and...erm...bodily sounds would be nice...(No,not"those"bodily sounds!/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif )
