For FB:

MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS

Computer: Pentium III 800/AMD Athlon 700 or better
Memory: 256 MB of RAM ( 512 MB is recommended)
Operating System: Windows(r)98/ME/2000/XP
DirectX: DirectX 8.1 or higher (included on disc)
Video Card: 3D video card (DirectX 8.1 compatible) w/32MB RAM (64MB recommended)
CD-ROM: 4X CD-ROM or better (Not recommended for use with CD-RWs)
Audio: Direct 8.1 compatible sound card
Internet/Network Play: Internet connection (56 kbps or better) or LAN for multiplayer
Hard Drive Space: 1.1 GB

In order to have a good framereate in PF, double the recommended memory and quadruple the recommended processor speed. Your graphics card should be from ATI or nVidia's latest generations.

If you can settle for a little less eye-candy you will be able to run the game on a much cheaper machine.

I run FB on a 1.2 Duron 256 Mb PC400 2-3-3-8 Valueselect Corsair(just about the cheapest 2.5 memory you can find, works great http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/11.gif), an ancient 8 Gb Maxtor and GeForce 2 MX400. Works reasonably good offline, sometimes it gets choppy but with more than 40 aircraft in a mission, it can't be better. My advice is, wait a bit if you can until the new products (I mean mobos and Graphic cards) are in good quantities, and then build tour own machine.

O, how I want to hold you,
To feel your breath
And hear your laughter in my ears.
To look into your eyes
And see myself in there.
Caress you with my lips.
To hold your hands in mine
And find the hidden smile in your dimple
That makes you irresistible
And stops the breathing in my chest.
To be with you when you are weeping,
To wipe away the tears and take away the sorrow.
To watch you while you are sleeping
Like there is no tomorrow.

And with a tender kiss to wake you up.

I'm currently running a Athlon XP 2400, 512 PC2700 Ram, and use an ole Geforce 4 Ti 4200 128mb. I plan on upgrading my Ram to 1 gig before Pacific fighters. Hopefully I can hold out on upgrading my video card until Christmas. What do you guys reccomend?
