I recently picked up AC 1 again, but already have a file with the game completed. How can I go back and replay different memories and continue them without losing where I was? Because I was playing one and got to 2/3 investigations complete. It also said a few times saving. But when I went to the main menu and reloaded it, the entire memory started over. Is there a way to save where I was? Or since I've beaten the game I'l always have to go back the the beginning each time. I've already found most view points.

just replay the game. You can't save your progress like that.

Jexx is right, once you've beaten a memory sequence, you can't save progress during a replay, you have to do the whole game again for that.

I never knew that, thanks. I'm only just killing time until AC IV comes out

Welcome.

I'll be coming up to my annual AC runthrough soon, myself.

The game automatically saves to your default saved game.

The key to saving your progress in AC games is to watch the whole credits which take longer than the storyline in the game and then save after that.

That's awkward...longer than the entire game?

After the main game is over you can just go back into the Animus whenever you want.

AC1 credits are actually the shortest of the series...

Have you seen AC3 credits?
