Its going to have features some Card Games that are currently in open beta dont have, features like Auction House, card leveling, hero leveling and hero talent points, will look alot better than some other Card Game that is currently in open beta. Alot better combat mode (Attacker turn and defender turn), cards that can be played in opponet turn to counter their actions. Even PvE dungeons and PvE multiplayer Raids.

I wonder if other Card Games that have promised so much, will be swept off the board by it. Time will tell.

The interface looks raw and unpolished, drawing quality ranges from bad to mediocre, turns last like 20 minutes and you have to constantly click pass. Very promising indeed.

1) Its a pre-alpha build.
2) A lot of the art is better than DoC, and especially MtG at the beginning.
3) Passing priority is a standard element of CCGs, and its absence in DoC limits the nature of play.

1) The interface is styled MTG and then the final will almost certainly be very similar.
2) It's been about 20 years since the beginning of MTG.
3) You are right in saying the priority is a standard element of many Card Game, the point is that we need to innovate and not to be like the others. And you're wrong when you say that its lack is a defect in DoC, but it's his strong point that makes the best of strategic Card Game.

1. My experience tells me that devs rarely care about changing an interface over the course of beta.
2. Here's one of their new cards: http://hextcg.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/NibblinHuntingPack_Gear_Web.png If you consider it better than DoC's ones then something's wrong with you.
3. A game is everything about fun and enjoyment. People wont enjoy dull, boring and exhausting gameplay. Simple as that.

What is all the fuss about anyway? This game will probably be ground-breaking in terms of features. There will simply be no end to card collecting and card upgrading aspect, not to mention social side of things. Cant wait for it.
