Ok, so I'm a big fan of the assassin's creed franchise(except for revelations) and the last 13 minute gameplay video got me excited for AC 4. Its kinda cool that pirates are in the game, but where do assassins come in? I didn't really see any info on that. I haven't been following AC 4, so I don't know. But I do have some questions if people on this forum can answer them. I'm just a little worried that AC 4 won't be AC anymore.

1.) What are some new assassin abilities?

2.) What can be customized? Swords? Clothes? Etc?

3.) How big is the map?

4.) Is the horrible aiming from AC 3 gone?

5.) How is AC 4 more exciting than AC 3?

6.) How is Edward interesting?

7.) Has combat been improved?

8.) What changes have been made to free running?

9.) What are some new and returning features?

What do you mean "Assassin" abilities?? Recruits are gone if that`s what you mean. they`re replaced by the crew

2.) What can be customized? Swords? Clothes? Etc?
Tons of outfits and customization for Edward`s appearance

3.) How big is the map?
Pretty big (How does that pertain to AC??)

4.) Is the horrible aiming from AC 3 gone?
It`s free aim now..

5.) How is AC 4 more exciting than AC 3?
That`s basically a wrong question (if that exists) it`s subjective. for example someone can tell you more Naval, but maybe you hate Naval

6.) How is Connor interesting?
It`s Edward this time. Connor`s granddad

7.) Has combat been improved?
We know nothing about combat so far

8.) What changes have been made to free running?
None so far

I actually don't give a flying monkey f*ck about naval combat. And I know it's Edward. Wrote Connor by mistake. Also, AC 3 was ok but was boring. The frontier was boring. I didnt care about hunting or frontier missions or being in the frontier. AC Brotherhood is my favorite. I hope they at least have some free running updates.

Oookay, well you may not want AC IV then...it`s 60% Land 40% Naval

I don`t think Free running will have anything significant...if it did, we`d have heard about it by now...like the Hookblade

Care to watch the demos that were released so far??

If you don't like naval, something tells me you ain't gonna like this game...

I hate nava, but if it's a lot and I mean a lot more exciting than AC 3, then I'm good with that. But there is a focus on assassinations, the meaning of being an assassin, and assassin things, right? It's not like naval is everything. I did like how the explored to different places in the AC 4 demo and how there are no loading screens on the high sees.

It's 40% naval, but the ocean is completely open-world now. So yes, I'd wager it's a lot more interesting than AC3's naval (which I liked anyway, but to each his own).

Then go to all viewpoints(they are fast travel to now) and don't explore so mutch and little side missions and the main story.

Edward is different than Connor in that he is a selfish bastard and has his piratey needs to satisfy apart from his Assassin duties. He is not your goody-two-shoes Assassin, like Connor was. Completely contrasting.

And not to forget the world is seamless, so that ratio can fluctuate. Like how in the demo, a land assassination contract ended up being a naval battle.
