View Full Version : Has any aspect of the AC series ever reminded you of something else, and if yes what?

Just speculation...

Some people have compared aspects of the AC series to stuff like Star Wars, The Matrix, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker... etc.

Then can you see any similarities between these and anything else...? (Well, I guess Wind Waker is a bit obvious ^_~ but you get the idea!)

Edit: Wasn't expecting a response anyway... :) Don't know why I posted this...? ^^' Boredom...? Probably. ;)

ACR reminded me of Uncharted 2 a couple times.

Oh yea and Connor hunting bears reminded me of Disney's Pocahontas.

"If you follow the footsteps of a stranger you'll find things you never knew." - Poca
"If I follow the footsteps of a bear I'll get up to 1500." - Connor

If I follow the footsteps of a man I get the smell of booze.

There's this scene in AC5 where Desmond kills one of his servants for giving him a lemon-lime soda when he asked for orange, and I was like WTF Deus Ex? when I first heard the dialogue.

Recently, there's this moment in The Last of Us where Ellie hunts a deer and I just couldn't help but flash back to the Connor hunting the deer we saw at E3 2012.

AC III ending - with almost every plot in the world.
Ezio's rescuing Sofia - Spiderman's story.. I believe there is actually an achievement .

Spider-Man.

You can't forget the hyphen.

Oh, and yea, the first three Spider-Mans always made MJ a damsel it distress. Those movies were so old-fashion and cliche. Still love 'em though.

The achievement was for climbing to the top of the Hagia Sophia in under a certain amount of time, called "Spider-Assassin."

Actually, speaking of Spider-Man, I was once thinking of making a fanfic cross over of the recent Spider-Man movie and Assassin's Creed III, because the events of the recent Spider-Man movie took place in fall 2012, and Spidey could be patrolling New York the same time Desmond is climbing the skyscraper in that mission.
