I have never had any problems with AC3: no glitches, no FPS drops, ... I bought the game in March I think.

What do you mean by "good" PC ?

Post your specs and we will give you an answer. You can already expect fps drops though, even on very high end rigs the game sometimes stutters.

I dont think it is possible to always have 60 fps on current hardware (mostly because of CPU limitation). But with GTX 660 and good (read "Intel") CPU you can expect 40-60 on max. But for a new gaming PC I would not recommend anythyng less than GTX 770 if you want to survive first next gen consoles ports.

Well, on 770 GTX paired with OCed 3770k @ 4.6 GHz, FPS ranges from 60-85 -avg 65- sometimes it drops to 54 for few seconds.

Haha. You're lucky. Most Ivys dont OC so high. And if we take stock clocks of any CPU on the market its still safe to say - always >60fps on max 1080p isnt reachable now.

agreed, Well IB with water cooling can achieve such clocks but temps are really annoying, next step is to delid it and push it to 4.9 Ghz, wish me luck :)

A 660 won't get you 60fps locked but it's more than enough to play the game at very good settings, and Black Flag as well.
