OK, I had posted this and it disappeared. Can't imagine why it was deleted if it was, but anyways, I am a glutton for punishment and here I go again.

Just picked up AEP. haven't installed yet. But I was thinking of all the P-51 variants (not to mention the P-38) I want to fly. Then I was thinking of getting a real graphics editor and making some skins. That made me think about aircraft names. It wasn't easy to think them up out of the blue! IRL, it usually was a nickname or based on some event, but in the virtual world, we have to dream up names. So on the way back from the store, I started thinking of names for US aircraft. So, if you need names or maybe some ideas for names, here is a short list of semi-period correct and period correct sounding names:

'fraidy-cat
Joliet Jake
Yankee Clipper
little Miss-Behavin'
San Francisco Sue
Sleepy Joe
Souix City Biddy
Cloud 9
Camden Cadillac
Merle's Pearl
lil Burro
Heaven sent
Lights Out
Gastown Gangster
Baby makes Three
Joltin' Jalopy
Iron Horse
Shady O'Grady
Old Splitfoot
Charlestown Representative
Lucky Daye
Risky Frisky n' Whisky
time's a wastin'
Boxcar Annie
Coughlin's Coffin
Tin Can
lil Stinker
Fly Away Home
Pop-Eyed Poppa
Sweet Caroline
Walkin Home

Some would be better on a Mustang, some on a T-Bolt, and some on a Lightning or B-17. But there you go. I'm gonna go install AEP http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Sorry for the two topics-the forum wasn't displaying the first one and I can't delete this one-I apparently don't have the rights to delete my own topic. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/crazy.gif
