Today after disconnecting from a game my computer was running rather slowly as it sometimes does. I brought up Windows task manager to see what was sapping PC resorces, and saw that hyperlobby was using up a fair amount of cpu cycles. It was fluctuating a bit, mostly under 5-10%... but after watching it for about 20 seconds i saw it jump to 95%!

Is this part of the lag problem for online play? Your thoughts please.

I rarely use Hyperlobby and I get plenty of little freezes.

I thought it would be more to do with custom skins and planes loading when they spawn.

Thats due to the ping thingy in HL. Never run HL if you aren't playing online.

When you join a game, the ping-thingy goes dormant and you don't suffer its effects.
