Just saw on Discovery Wings Profiles of Flight on Andrei Tupelev. There was footage of paratroops jumping out of trap doors in the bottom of the fuselage. Wouldn't that be a hoot in the game! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The other story I've heard is of special ops [or at least guards / spec ops equivalents] holding on to straps on the wings, then diving off onto soft earth or haystacks behind enemy lines. That's so ballsy they should give them a solid brass medal in the shape of a pair of testicles to hang around their neck.

why would that be a hoot?
it's stupid http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

if they could shoot from their parashoots, then it'd be a hoot, and if they carried antiperson mines/antiplane mines so that they could blockade a airfield that'd be a hoot or to drop grenades from parashoot http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_redface.gif

that'd be a hoot

this is just a easteregg

What you're talking about razor3 is related more to the game mechanics than to aircraft bells and whistles. Yes, the ability to take a field and render it unusable would be a kick - even more if you could move the lines instantly by taking a field or destroying a line of tanks or destroying a field HQ, etc, etc.
It'd be a "hoot" not a "OMG! Wow! How cool is that"!

I saw some footage a while back where the paras were climbing out of the top of the fuselage and sliding down the wings in order to drop off. Obviously before the invention of the trapdoor. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I remember reading that their regimental badge shows a paratrooper dropping (without a parachute) into soft snow. Anyone else read that?

gggrrrrhhh

Capturing enemy airfield. You could do that in early FB, before the Patch that made parked aircraft dissappear after landing.

Just set landing waypoint at the same runway end as enemy aircraft spawn. As long as all airfield AA was destroyed, big AI bombers land and taxis back and PARKS next to enemy planes spawning. The bomber gunners take out the enemy as they start engines. Me~323 was really brutal here, with the 20mm cannon gunners.

If you could just sneak up on the TB3 and take it down before the fighters launched! 6 kills in 1!!! Become an ace from killing 1 aircraft.

My post's are my asumptions only, and in no way linked to fact. I am not an official 1C, Ubi, or Russian Red Rocket spokesman.
