I thought Juno's body was already resurrected...? Wasn't that the point of Desmond dying? Freeing Juno's corporeal body?

Yeah, I tried to research the "Delicia" ship (since they made such a point of showing us the name) but couldn't find one active in 1717.

Hands off my plot theories - I called it already ;) & the juno in stasis / tomb theory too - along with the 'modern protag is juno infiltrating Abstergo archives' .
( They're all mine & Ubisoft owe me royalties if used in game ) LOLOLOLOL

Maybe it's an ice cube that never melts so if your drink is hot you put that in and it makes it cold again, I can see why the Templars want it so bad.

The Icecube of Eden... indeed. So it seems Edward's quest is to find a way to keep his beer cold.

Seems legit.

Here you go... http://threedecks.org/index.php?display_type=show_ship&id=14528
There's not much info on it, other than it was a hire Hospital vessel, commanded by Thomas Black. According to the record it was active from 1710-1713. No reason why it couldn't have been used after that off record or by another officer etc.
I've tried looking up Thomas Black too but found nothing. I managed to find a carpenter on the ship on some old archives but that's it, nothing interesting!

According to the record it was active from 1710-1713. No reason why it couldn't have been used after that (...)

According to this source (http://www.angelfire.com/realm3/caribbeantales/ships_known.html) Delicia belonged to Woodes Rogers, a pirate hunter:

Delicia - A 460 ton East Indiaman, she sailed out of the Thames on the 11th April 1718 with an escort of 4 naval ships, the frigates Milford and Rose, and the sloops Buck and Shark. The fleet was under the charge of Woodes Rogers on his voyage to New Providence. At Nassau, they dallied with Charles Vane before settling down in the harbour. Eventually the naval ships sailed off to greener pastures, leaving Rogers with the Delicia as his only guard ship.

On November 6th, 1717 Captain Woodes-Rogers was appointed as the Governor of the Bahamas. He sailed from England on April 11th, 1718, in the "Delicia", with orders to stamp out piracy, prevalent in the West Indies. He met with a certain amount of success, making possible the Island motto: "Expulsis Piratis, Restituta Commercia".

I"ll just repost my hypothesis

Well, if this is the whole climax and purpose of the game, why show it in a trailer? Why show the end of the game? Unless (drum roll), there are many of these. The whole purpose of the game is to collect MANY crystals (like the keys of ACR) and then combine them to revive EVE, the Templars recreate EVE and let her lead humanity to defeating Juno again. Then at the end of the game, the Templars betray EVE and entrap her, as she doesn't know that they are her enemies as opposed to the Assassins which are her allies. At the end of the game, we hear the Templar guards shout "THE ASSASSINS ARE HERE" as the game pans to an angry looking William with an apple with an entourage of Assassins behind him as they close in to rescue EVE.

You're terrible.

On a serious note, they made a whole game-AC liberation- to show us that EVE was the one to lead the human revolution against TWCB. We need to defeat Juno, one of TWCB, therefore, it is inevitable that we must mention EVE one way or another, as we require her knowledge on how to defeat Juno.

Her spirit dewelled inside the Temple but as LoyalACFan said that could very well be dropplets of Juno's Blood .

Also ( I could be wrong ) But being as you are the abstergo member who is researching Edwards memories by using Desmonds DNA that cube could be part of the modern day experiment ? ie abstergo are in possesion of it ?

Its only a wild guess but being as Desmond is infused with first civilzation DNA them blood dropplets could very well match Desmonds blood type ?

not myths per se, just heavily altered...We couldn't comprehend the nature and techno of TwCB so we made them gods and their techno became miracles and supernatural occurrences..

The tree of life was probably the warehouse they took it from....and it looked like a tree....or named like a tree

That's what I meant. Not myths invented from wholecloth but as explanations for things that were beyond our understanding. In the Bible there were several trees in the Garden of Eden (Tree of Life, Tree of Knowledge etc.) but in the AC universe it could be that they're all combined in the form of various PoEs.

Biblical AC isn't going to happen, Ubi doesn't have the balls to step on religion's toes that directly. No major game company does, and you can't blame them. It seems like the market they're aiming for is young American kids whose predominantly Christian mommies still buy games for them. And since a large portion of Americans believe every single aspect of the Bible is literally true, they'd never go for something that essentially says the Bible is false. Sure, they've gotten away with throwing in Adam and Eve stuff in the past, but it was never the main part of the game and never ever got advertised.

LOL There are really only a 'Few' religions that would B**** & Riot if their holy icons were denounced in AC games .
There will always be those offended by the slightest comment or reference.

But to be honest - While AC games have that religious disclaimer - I always read the Franchise as 'attacking' systems of Control , Religion just happens to be the main systems in place within the time periods / locations used so far.

But again instinctively 'Attack against religion' is many people's initial reaction.

Yeah, Edward may end up sparing him, or even working with him. Rogers was very vicious in his pirate hunting, but he did clean up the Caribbean of some wicked characters. Maybe Edward makes a deal with him to take down a particularly nasty pirate (maybe Ned Low?) in exchange for Rogers turning a blind eye to his pirate activities?

Nothing is True everything is permitted !

But it is merely an observation of the nature of reality. To say that nothing is true, is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shepherds of our own civilization. To say that everything is permitted, is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with their consequences, whether glorious or tragic

Seems like a drop of blood preserved in the cube. The Ones Who Came Before blood maybe? Imagine the genetic mutations Abstergo could create by analyzing their DNA!

The cube looks like it has a drop of blood in it. In AC2 ( or mabye AC3 ) Subject 16 says something to Desmond about having to find Eve's DNA, that could be whats in the cube. I know the post is a bit late but still...

What's really important to remember, no matter what perspective you're coming from, is that AC is fiction, not truth. Ubi isn't trying to offend anybody or even to imply that religion is false. They're trying to tell an interesting story, and they succeed at that. I'm a devout Christian, and I don't find AC offensive. It's a narrative.
