View Full Version : Call of Juarez - Bound in Blood (crash after Intro)

Hello,

I bought "Call of Juarez - Bound in Blood" at Steam today and have 2 stupid problems. :(

Problem 1:
After the Intro the game crashes to the desktop it doesn´t matter if I press ESC or wait till the intro is over.
I downloaded and installed the newest driver vor my graphic card and soundcard but the problem is still present.

At the eventmanager I found following entry

Problem 2:
When I enter the Steam serial what comes with the game I receive the message "invalid serial"
I already wrote a ticked to the steam support or should I contact Ubisoft?

same here! and intro logos of ubisoft ect. are mirrored and the gameintro ins twisted 180 dgrees! fix it plz or i cancel sucribtion of the next coj to come! im really pissed i got bound in bloud as dvd version and steam version both with the same problems.

for both crashes and key issues, they are the best people to talk to:

Make sure to send the DXdiaog to them, it may help them.

I bought the game from Uplay and I got a blank screen. I contacted technical support and after sending them my specs for my PC and this is the reply I got:
"Unfortunately, it seems that your computer does not meet the minimum requirements to run the game. You are currently using: Windows 7 The game requires: Windows XP/Vista ONLY If you have any further questions or concerns, let us know and we will be glad to help." When I replied that Windows 7 has been out for almost 4 years and asked why don't have a patch to resolve this problem, or why they even bother selling these games, I got no response and the issue was closed. Ubisoft have great games, but there technical support is garbage!

I hope they do give support, it should be a simple fix you might think.
